Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueMy first experience at this shop was definitely one to be desired. Upon my arrival, my son and I learned after an hour of waiting for our appointment no one acknowledged that they had scheduled us. Of course me forgetting the stylist name with whom I scheduled with wasn’t any help but I assumed just like every other salon they would have an appointment book .NOT!! So after waiting for an hour and watching people come in even staff arriving late I ended up speaking to the owner “Queen” and explaining to her my situation and she was nice enough to fit me and my son in due to the confusion. My son was given to one lady and I went with “Queen”. During this time no one still acknowledged that the appointment was made, whomever she was, claimed to make oils for the hair but come to find out that was a lie too.So fast forward, my hair was done and it was time for payment. Well “Queen” request payments via Cash App and of course this would be the day I’d have a problem. I went in to pay “Queen” $135 in which was the cost of my wash and style. (No problem!!) but accidentally, I sent a second payment in the same amount to her. This is where the problem came in. After realizing what I have done I immediately contacted Queen because I had since left the shop, explained to her that I sent her two payments of $135 accidentally and requested a refund of the one payment. Queen then tried to convince me that she only received the one payment (Lie)and that cash app will display two transactions even when only one was made (yet another Lie).I knew that wasn’t true because I frequently use cash app and NEVER!! had this issue. I then contacted cash app themselves and they sent me verification of both transactions to “Queen “ via my bank (Region)and cash (Cash App) with two different transactions numbers and times. I sent that over to her and still have not received my refund, in fact she declined the refund and sent me a heart ❤️ message to the other payment via cash app. Despite her dishonesty and the fact that my son and I never even met the real hair stylist that I originally booked with, I still wish “Queen” and her staff the best success. I will encourage everyone to be very cautious in dealing with this shop, especially with dishonest folks like Shalisa “Queen” Lewis because people like this will always try to get over on you and try to make you believe they are very fourth coming. The sad part is, I am one customer that loves to pour into her own people (black owned businesses)and I was looking to make Lollilocs my permanent home even though I am very knowledgeable on how to retwist and wash my own locs. I thought by coming to this establishment I was treating myself and my son to a day of pampering, along with giving back to my own people. Sadly I was wrong. But this is the main reason some black owned businesses don’t thrive because somewhere along the way someone will try to get over. Keep in mind, I never complained about her prices I was willing to pay for something I didn’t feel like doing. But I darn sure didn’t intentionally give her a additional $135 tip out of the kindness of my heart. Lastly, I’ve sent her screenshots of everything and still no word back from her other than she doesn’t have any available appointments until next month. Well, with all do respect I will NEVER step foot back into this shop again. And I pray that the Most High deals with her and even though she refuses to refund what wasn’t hers i pray that it helped her with whatever she needed it for that badly to not give it back.If you like I can post the same screenshot of the transactions and confirmation from cash app themselves confirming. One thing I will NEVER DO!! Is bring a light to a situation that is being handled correctly in a negative way. But! If things aren’t right, I will speak on it, I have been using cash app for some time, like I said I’m not naive. You state that you are willing to make this right but you still have both payments!! My first experience at this shop was definitely one to be desired. Upon my arrival, my son and I learned after an hour of waiting for our appointment no one acknowledged that they had scheduled us. Critical: QualityTook my son to get his hair retwisted and left a bunch of brown caked up residue from the gel used in his hair and it looks very dirty and worse than what it started with. Now I have to wash the brown gunk out of his hair and basically mess up the twist style cause it looks very dirty .. waste of 50 bucks ..Service: Dreadlocks
