This is long overdue but I wish I could give Karen 10 stars. I first came across Karen when she worked at a different salon, over 10 years ago. After being frustrated with what I thought was my naturally frizzy and tough-to-manage hair, all it took was one haircut from Karen. She gave me the most perfect cut and layers, turning my hair into smooth, flowing waves that perfectly framed my face. True magician. Since that first haircut, I have refused to trust anyone else with my hair and even after living out of state for 10 years, I still, only get haircuts, styling, and color from Karen when I visit family in the area. Not only is she extremely talented, but she is also such a wonderful, punctual, and kind person. When I recently got married, Karen and Sam from LOKA traveled out of state to do my hair and makeup and achieved a flawless look that didn’t budge after hours of dancing and running around. Karen also patiently worked with me for three trials to try drastically different looks until I found the right one. Karen, Sam, and the team are all incredible and I would follow them to any location!

Loka is a beautiful new salon, owned by Karen who is an amazing and talented stylist even with the most challenging of hair types. My blond has never looked more natural and healthy. Karen has also worked with my two daughters to provide beautiful color, cuts and style including homecoming and prom. Her team is kind, patient and talented.

If I could I would give more than 5 stars! I followed Karen after years of great service, LOKA is environmentally stable and green and clean. If you are worried about harsh chemicals damaging your hair this is the place for you! All of their colors and products are vegan and have no harsh chemicals!
