We are a local salon boutique offering hair a service experience as well as boutique shopping. We have a beautifully new built out salon that we offer independent stylist a place to call home. At loft 9.14 we a have amazing talented group of individual business owners, they each run their own hair service biz from our salon. They rent their salon space and strive to bring to each and every client a very customizable experience as they are highly educated and experienced stylist. If you want to keep your appointment, don’t use their online booking. I was looking for a brand new salon after going to the same person for 6 years. Just needed a change right? Well I loved that this salon offered online booking. So I booked for today at 3 with Melissa. She then texts me the next day saying she’s not actually available but she has some one else that can do 330 for the same day. Okay great. Salon confirms the appointment yesterday. Get to today and Meghan texts saying she’s “running a little behind” and asked if I can come at 5:30. That not a little behind. That’s 2 hours. And then when I say I have reservations at 730 (which is specifically why I picked today to get my hair done) she just offers 2 other days during the week or next weekend. Not a good look to push a first time client back this much. Will be looking elsewhere.

Reviews are not my thing to do, but in this case it’s a must. Megan did my hair and came out Amazing. I showed Megan a picture and she trumped that picture. Not to mention working with curly hair that needed TLC. My hair was dry and had no life. I walked out feeling like a new woman. Not to mention super sweet. The only complaint was another worker who talked squawked so loud it was hard to enjoy a pampering day. Found it kind of rude. She was 2 feet away from her client not sure why she had to yell. But if you need a place to go seriously ask for Megan. Today was my first day there and definitely going back to her.

I came here a couple week before my senior prom to get a trim and I absolutely loved it. I mentioned to Melissa who I scheduled with to style my hair for prom that day of my hair cut how excited I was. Day of prom comes around and she was unfortunately running late I was already in the parking lot when I got a text wanted to reschedule for a hour later but because my time was so limited because of prom I could not have made it. I just want to put this out there so you don’t have the same experience I do. I was truly heart broken by the unprofessionalism of this hair salon. I went to my senior prom with my hair not done. This place does not confirm appointments sadly.

I went to 914 for the first time yesterday for a color touch-up and had the pleasure of having Monica as my stylist. Monica was fantastic. She listened to what my goal was, showed swatches, gave me an idea of what to expect, and then did her magic. My hair turned out perfect. In addition to her wonderful color and styling she had a great personality and was really easy to talk to. Highly recommend!
