Love love love this salon. I’ve been hearing a lot of good news about the customer service at this salon so I was excited for my appointment. When I walked in, it is so nice, clean and the staff was very friendly. I loved how my hair turned out and I love the location. Right across the street from the Dairy Queen in the heart of downtown Ferndale. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

Tried this place out since a friend recommended it to me. The inside is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The reason I am leaving two stars is because of my most recent hair appointment. I had gotten a crochet fake out and after returning home from the appointment I realized some of the twist in the front weren’t sealed so they were coming undone and the back where my hair was braided before the twist were added was really puffy. Overall I didn’t like it so I contacted my stylist about it and at first she did apologized since I was unhappy with it but when I inquired about a refund or a partial refund she stopped replying to me.

Be aware of unforeseen cancellation charges! We made an appointment on line. They called the same day and said we need to have a free consultation first. We left a voicemail at 6:09pm the day before that we cannot come for the free consultation.The morning of the appointment Locs called and stated they have to charge 50% of the appointment cost for same day cancellation. We reminded them they told us the consultation was free. They ended up changing us $20. You’re better off going somewhere else!

I love it here! I been loc’d for about a year and half now and I’m loving the growth of my hair, as well as the overall service. The hair products always helped a lot with my growth and the attentiveness with my locstician Charlie. Locs of Love is the epitome of how a shop should handle business with a drama free environment, welcoming, cleanliness and professionalism. It’s definitely a vibe and I love the energy. The owner Charlie leads her shops well and does an amazing job with all her clients, including myself.
