We are a team of artists dedicated to making you look and feel your best! At Lock & Shade we celebrate our clients beauty each and every day. We wish to inspire people to forget any cookie cutter image they have been fed, and embrace what they have been given. Our artists believe that beauty is not boxed in and each client should feel completely special and unique. We create art on beautiful canvases and we are truly grateful for it.

Whether it be a simple blow out or an in-depth color session, I always feel amazing after each visit. The ambiance, music, the whole vibe is just fantastic.Also, Lock & Shade played a huge part in my wedding day. We were a group of 11, all who had hair & make up done, and it was perfect. The scheduling for a group session ensures that everything runs smoothly. Emily and Gina did an awesome job on our hair and makeup for my wedding! And Blaise was so great to work with leading up to and on the big day! We got ready in the salon and used the courtyard for our first look (seriously a beautiful backdrop for pictures). Everyone was very happy with how their looks turned out and Emily and Gina were so kind and easy to work with! Blaise was so attentive to helping us get ready and feel comfortable. He was was so easy to work with on the timeline and coordination leading up to. Thank you all for making our wedding party feel beautiful on our wedding day and for allowing us to have such a relaxing morning at the salon.

I was part of a bridal party that was styled by Lock and Shade. The stylists were professional and did a wonderful job on everyone but completely missed the mark on my hair. I asked for a faux hawk and provided a reference picture. The style/picture I chose I had used before for another wedding, so I knew it was possible for my hair. After she completed the first attempt, my immediate audible response was “no”. After discussion, she attempted it for a second time. She told me that it was hard with my hair (for reference I have long fine hair). Like I previously stated, I knew it was a style that would work because I had it done before.

They run like a well oiled machine in terms of customer service and the atmosphere is very welcoming and fun.
