I recently visited Liz’s Santa Fe Hair Studio and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The stylist did not seem to listen to my requests and I was left with a haircut that did not meet my expectations. The overall atmosphere was also uninviting and lacked a welcoming vibe. I would not recommend this hair studio to others.

We walked in last minute because my 10 year old daughter had her little heart set on getting all her chopped off on that same day. Liz fit us in same day and was honestly the perfect person to give my daughter her first real hair style. She was kind and patient. She did EXACTLY what my daughter wanted and even did some teaching on styling tips as she was going. My daughter is GLOWING and cannot stop saying how much she loves her hair. Her self confidence just shot through the roof. We could not have asked for a better experience. It was perfect. And very reasonable price. We had the most amazing experience at this salon with Liz. We walked in last minute because my 10 year old daughter had her little heart set on getting all her chopped off on that same day. Liz fit us in same day and was honestly the perfect person to give my daughter her first real hair style. She was kind and patient. This place is great and the people are amazing. I had a serious hair-911 situation when an at-home bleach project went wrong. They helped me feel comfortable and were so nice about it. They managed to fix my hair same-day with beautiful results. I’m blond now rather than neon orange and very happy. I’ll be back!

Worst hair color and salon experience ever! Monica did what was supposed to be highlight/lowlight combination and charged me $178 plus I gave her a generous cash tip. The salon lighting is dark, and when I checked the color in daylight at home I could see she had left so much gray on the top and didn’t even take the highlights all the way to the roots. This photo was taken 3 days after the color job. I returned to the salon the next day, and Monica said she would correct the color. Imagine my shock when after she attempted to correct the horrible color she had done, she charged me an additional $60!!! Never in my life have I heard of a salon charging the customer for something the hairdresser screwed up. I asked to speak with the owner, but I was told Liz was on vacation and would call me back when she returned. When I still didn’t hear back from Liz nearly 4 weeks later, I phoned the salon and left my contact information again and told Liz would call me back. That was 2 weeks ago, and I’ve still not been contacted.

Incredible. All of the staff here are friendly and very professional. Liz has been doing my hair for almost 3 years and she is amazing. My grand mother has gone to all of the stylists there and loves them all. I don’t know where the negative reviews have come from but I promise you will be very pleased if you make an appointment.

My daughters and I came to Santa Fe Hair Studio for cuts and color. Meagan did a fantastic job for all three of us – we all walked out loving our hair, and she did exactly what we asked her to do. The prices are reasonable, and the shop has a fun energy. We will definitely return!
