Critical: Professionalism, QualityI will NEVER EVER come to this place again. I went to get a pedicure on Friday 07/23 me and my husband. We both got a pedicure only mines was done in 5 mins and she get me over to a guy to paint my toe nails with Gel polish. He painted half of my toes and I had paint on my skin. I asked him multiple times to fix it as you can see from the pics this how I walked out. The whole time he’s doing his so called polish job my husband has been getting a pedicure for about 39 mins and the lady is flirting with him. When we get done I told her many times I did not like my feet but she continued to flirt with my husband. I called today to tell them my gel is coming off she tells me we could have fixed it but you was too busy complaining about your feet. Do not come to this place. We both got a pedicure only mines was done in 5 mins and she get me over to a guy to paint my toe nails with Gel polish. He painted half of my toes and I had paint on my skin. I got to the nail shop at 7pm when they closed at 8. She said can I help you. I told her that I would like a medic and pedicure and asked her how much would it be. She looked me up and down and said for YOU $27 for the pedicure and $20 for the manicure. I told her that fine she said what time is it because we close at 8 note that the shop was empty. I’m still stuck at when she said “ FOR YOU”. I looked around and The menu price to said something cheaper .

She did my nails and in under 24 hours 3 broke she had problems with getting glue to hold tip on yet when they broke in less than a 24 hour period she yelled & argued that I had to hit them very hard to break them. I’ve been going here for last 6-7 months and up till last visit everything was good. After my last interaction with Susan the owner. I’ll NEVER return. She did my nails and in under 24 hours 3 broke she had problems with getting glue to hold tip on yet when they broke in less than a 24 hour period she yelled & argued that I had to hit them very hard to break them. Wanted to charge me $7 each nail to repair. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN TO LIZ NAILS!!!

Do not go to Liz Nails if you want your nails to look good. They do not have attention to detail and their supplies are dirty or lacking. I went in to get my full set taken off and to get a manicure. They started by trying to pull the fake nails off, which I had always heard was bad for your nails. I asked them to soak them instead. After soaking and buffing over and over, they tried to peal them off with another acrylic tip (I guess they didn’t have the proper utensils to take them off properly). The woman working on them, Susan the owner I think, started tying to put the powder dip on them before even finishing taking the fake nails off. When I told her the tips were still on, she said she couldn’t see them. She went back and removed more of the old nail after I told her I still saw it. While she was putting the powder dip on I noticed the base coat had red spots in it. I told her about it and she said she didn’t see anything. I asked another customer and her co-worker about it and they could see it too. She said she they looked perfect. She offered to fix them, but by then I had already spent two hours listening to someone getting murdered on a video she was watching on her phone and listening to their kid yell in the phone with her friend over math problems and just wanted to leave. I go to the salon for a relaxing time and for them to make my nails look good and neither of those happened for me. I will not be returning and would advise anyone considering this salon to stay far away.

I liked going to this place until the last few times. There’s always the middle aged couple that owns it (I think), their daughter, and their young daughter there. The daughter does really good designs and is really sweet. No complaints there. BUT the man is the only one that does acrylics and that is what I always get: JUST acrylics, no french, no paint because I like to do it all myself. He does it for $27 so it’s not bad BUT they are always uneven. If I get square nails they are always slightly slanted. Every time I get them done I’ll compare hand to hand and there is always one nail that’s a lot longer than the other hands nail. Ex: last time my left thumbnail was TWICE THE LENGTH of my right thumbnail. If I point it out he will correct it but I feel like I shouldn’t have to every time… I don’t care how long it takes, I will tip someone amazingly but just PLEASE take the time to look over you work and give me what I am paying for. Going today to get them done but going somewhere else.

I am a resident of MH & wanted to support the local businesses. Unfortunately the nail polish was thick & it did not adhere probably. I went out of town & I could not return to the salon. I had to have my nails redone on 2nd day while on vacation. I tried to explain this to the owner & she literally started yelling at me. Basically saying she did nothing wrong, I was a lier & I was not getting a refund. I was stunned, behavior was so defensive & rude. She had zero accountability & understanding. She insulted me & insisted that it was not her fault. I even tried to clam her down & said it’s not your fault it was just bad polish. It was a horrible experience when all I want to do was support her business. Instead of reassuring me & suggesting a solution to keep my business she decided to keep the $18 + tip. She lost a repeat customer from her community. Just awful & sad a MH business was represented in this fashion.

I have been getting gel nails for almost 20 years. When I moved to St. Louis 4 years ago a found a place I loved and stuck to it. But I was having a busy week last week and needed my nails done and this place was right next to the coin laundry I was at (since our washer had just broke). I went in for a fill, Tommy did my nails. I specifically told him that I had 2 nails that were loose and needed to be replaced. Instead of listening, he just filled over them. 2 days later one of the nails came off while I was holding a bag of hashbrowns. I went to have the nail repaired. Instead of standing behind their work Susan, the owner, was very rude, said I had to have broken it off being careless and would have to pay to have the nail repaired. After arguing with her for 5 minutes I left, broken nail and all. On top of that, the gel polish is already chipping!!!! I mean, really! I will never go back, and I suggest you go to a place that stands behind their work like elite nail salon.

The guy who did my nails used the cuticle cutter to cut my nails, and then filed and buffed them AFTER polishing them! When I dared protest he said he was done and the woman demanded $32. Two days later my gel manicure started chipping. $32 flushed down the toilet. I will NEVER use this nail salon again. I don’t think everyone who works there is licensed to do nails.
