The review might be a bit lengthy but please take time to read this. I will write every detail of what happened to me. I was at this salon couple of weeks back for my hair straightening. My appointment was at 11 am. I was 5-6 minutes late as I live a little far from the salon. When I made my appointment, I was told the price would be $275 plus $60 for each additional hour. The hairstylist started to cut my hair and then began with the treatment. She was kind of mad at me as my hair was very wavy but that’s why I went for the straightening. She was also arguing with me that I’d colored my hair which I already told her over the phone while making the appointment that I colored 5 months back. If she would’ve suggested it, I would not straighten my hair, I wouldn’t force her to do it. Then after she applied the straightening cream, she said she would need to use a more stronger formula as my hair looked really curly to her. Then she applied a stronger formula. Then she did the other process. After the final process, it should just have been washing my hair and blow-drying it. At this time, it was almost 2:30 pm which was exactly 2 and half hours and should have been $275 but she again flat-ironed it to which I was surprised because that’s the whole point of doing permanent hair straightening that you don’t have to use a flat iron to straighten it after you wash your hair. That’s how it is in all other salons. I have done hair straightening a couple of times before as well so I know the process. Otherwise, who would spend almost 400 bucks? So I realized later that she was buying more time so that she could charge me more money. The process was technically finished at 2:30 but she flat ironed my hair again and cut my hair again which took 1 more hour and she charged me $380.

I’ve been going back to Lisa 3-4 times now – I love the color she puts on me! I showed her what I wanted with Google pictures and she, as a professional colorist/hairdresser, would explain to me the proper way to achieve that and suggest a similar option, which turns out really well, natural and cute! I’m the type of person who appreciates communications and I can see that she is serious about her job. Reasonable pricing for services. I trust her with my hair 100%!

Lisa is spectacular! Shes so pleasant and friendly and knows her craft. She did a spectacular job on my really long curly hair. She took her time with the straightening and wasn’t rushed in cutting my hair. Just loved her! Definitely coming back again and Again & again! Will recommend her to anyone!! Did I mention the price? I saw Lisa. I booked an appointment online two days before seeing her. It was very easy and was able to see what time she was available. When I saw her, I told her what I wanted. She delivered everything on point. I got a cut and color. She even asked if it was okay to go shorter than I asked for because to get rid of my spilt ends. I highly respect that. The color came out the same as my natural hair color. She made me feel comfortable. So friendly.
