I left my 5 stars about 5yrs ago but I’ve been coming to Lions Mane for about 8-9yrs since I moved here from CA in 2013, I love this place! I travel an hour to get my haircut here, even with these gas prices! Seriously lol John, Rae and Cathy can fix you up if your looking rough!

Great place. Casual environment. Basic place but holds an old time feeling with the open conversation across the chairs and those waiting their turn. Everybody entering and leaving is addressed by name. The customers are community folks who are loyal to the business that has been around so many years. Many times a customer enters and is greeted by another customer who is waiting.

Trying a new barber shop can be a nerve racking experience. However that is not the case here. The atmosphere is very clean and comfortable. The barbers are genuinely friendly and John Henry did an exceptional job on my hair. He gave me exactly what I asked for while also being intuitive enough to add just a little bit of his own touch here and there where needed. This place greatly exceed my expectations and I will certainly return. 5 stars
