I had a very special event last Saturday & booked an appointment at Lindsy James Salon In Ocean City with stylist, Madison at the recommendation of a close friend. Well, I feel the photos say it all. I gave her creative freedom and could not have been happier with the outcome. I received so many compliments. The salon is clean and comfy with easy parking and Madison was efficient and so personable.Highly recommend the salon and especially stylist, Madison!

I haven’t had a hair cut and color in a year and a half due to hair loss. This was my first appointment back and they gave me Madison. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had. So much inexperience was obvious. They shouldn’t even let her work there. She had no idea what texurizing meant. The haircut could have been done better by me and she left black all over my face from the dye. I actually had to ask her to take it off which at that point I knew it wasn’t coming off. 165 dollars later. Never will I go back there. Such a bad experience for my first time back.

First time here. Corrine did a wonderful job cutting my hair and discussing options for color next visit. Very knowledgeable on products and guided me on what would be best for my dry hair. Going back in a few weeks for color service. Salon is nice, clean and everyone is very friendly. This was only my 2nd professional haircut since start of pandemic as I’m immune compromised & extremely cautious. My 1st was this past summer at a different salon and was NOT a good experience. Corrine put me at ease and wore a mask as well (I wear them everywhere). She took the time to listen and it made all the difference. This will definitely be my new salon to go to.

This is just an overall good, classy salon! I have been coming here for over 5 years and they just do a nice job and use the high quality Aveda products. I have had highlight, low lights, balayage, and even my prom hair done and they have done a beautiful job every time!

I was originally supposed to get married in April, but had to reschedule to due Covid. Lindsy was so great to work with in rescheduling our date (not all of our vendors were!). The day of the wedding, they were overly prepared to make us girls look awesome for the day, and were so fun to spend the morning with getting ready. All of their artists did a beautiful job. I needed an emergency haircut while vacationing in OCNJ. A friend of a friend,… recommended Heather at Lindsy James, specifically for fine thin hair like mine. She did not disappoint. Heather listened to my needs, considered the cuts I was interested in, and gave me her honest opinion about which she thought would work best. She not only gave me a great cut, I got a hand massage while I was getting shampooed! Nice touch, Lindsy. Prices are as you would expect for a quality, but not lofty, salon.
