When I first started coming here I loved this place. After they moved across the street, in more recent visits I’ve had uncomfortable experiences. I was seeing a stylist who was extremely talkative. I tried to be polite but she would stop cutting my hair to face me every time she started talking. On one occasion she tried to sell me product for curly hair- which I definitely don’t have. I had to deliberately stop booking with her. Then I went to a stylist who dry cut my hair. It was so odd, I’ve never experienced that before. It was awful- it looked like I didn’t even get my hair cut. So I tried to only book with certain stylists after that but I decided to get a color treatment. It was nothing special but what happened was, I had to get my hair washed a couple times throughout the process. The sink set up is very bad. The water went straight down my back both times and I was soaking wet. I was embarrassed and didn’t say anything. I assume she was too because she didn’t offer to help. This happened once before with another stylist and at least she tried to blow dry my shirt. This time I literally took my shirt off in the car and drove home in my bra. I did not feel cute. I think that has to be it for me.

The shop owner Lina, is awesome. It is truly inspiring to witness how she has grown into a successful entrepreneur. Amanda is my barber, who provides amazing service. I love the hot towels and head masages during the wash and rinse. My favorite part is that Amanda provides straight shaves, an experience all men must try in their life.

Laura is funny, great sense of humor and did a great job with my 4c hair, although, it smoked up the place to get it bone-straight. I loved that she never gave up with the shoulder exercises to get his hair to look the way I needed.
