She has been styling hair in NY for over 30 years. Several years ago Lily and Mario opened their shop in Boca Raton. I was so impressed with their professionalism, warm and caring nature, and attention to detail. Lily gave me the best color and haircut of my entire life. If you are looking for a true gem and a stylist who listens to your every wish, look no further than Lily of New York. I gave my daughter a gift for her birthday because she wanted a dream hair and change the color for a long time.she took care of my daughter and when we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes because she was late on her schedule. She then rushed him into work. She was supposed to give a discount as a new client, but I only found out afterwards that she never did. The worst part was the exorbitant (unexpected) price she charged me at the end of her approximately 4 hour service (she bragged that it was a record to do it in 4 hours!). All this for a cost as low as 900$ claiming her unique talent and coloring technique…My daughter’s hair is short (chin height) I want to mention here.

If you’re looking for an honest fair and expert stylist go somewhere else. The owners are extremely rude and dishonest. And to a brand new client. I went in for $130 service and they tried to upcharge me $380. The owners then tried to sue me because I disputed the charges and won. Awful service and a real hassle!

I have short wavy hair that if not cut correctly is a disaster. Positive: ProfessionalismBeing that I am from New York, I only do my hair when I am home. But this one time ( I don’t know why?) I trusted someone in Florida to straighten my curly hair. It turned out to be a nightmare! The next day my hair was so dry and pieces broke off all over my head. I could fill a ziplock full of my hair that came out as I was brushing it! All I wanted to do was cry! But I cry no more because I found a salon with an angel… her name is Lily! Passing by the salon one day and seeing she was from New York gave me a little comfort. I am so happy I found her, she did magic! Now a year and a half later my hair is back to normal . She knew just what to do from the start. I was getting haircuts and hair conditioners regularly . The professionalism, patience and expertise I received from Lily and her partner Mario were exceptional. My hair color was an extreme challenge as it was very black in color and I wished for it to be blonde.
