I am a permanent make up artist specializing in hyper-realistic Nano Hairstrokes. These are machine-created hairstrokes, so no microbladed cutting of the skin. This advanced technique is suitable for more skin types and is what a lot of microblading artist are transitioning to (for many wonderful reasons) I also love creating soft, naturally shaded brows. My focus is to create natural looking brows using the best techniques in the industry that will last you 1-3 years. I could easily write a small novel here to gush over Ashton’s talents as an artist and beauty as a human! My story is most easily simplified like this: I have always been a picker…my nails, my skin, and most recently…my brows. 🙁 OCD? ADHD? Boredom? Genetics…whatever the blame, my incessant need to have my hands busy resulted in various areas of my body suffering the consequences. During my bout with Covid and 5 days stuck on the couch, I picked obsessively and ended up with bare spots throughout my poor brows. Mind you, I had really pretty natural ones before this! Fast forward over a year and my poor brows just couldn’t come back in! My sister, a redhead with barely visible hairs found Ashton after trying to tint her own eyebrows for months…and she couldn’t stop bragging over the skills of this magical woman! I took one look at my sissy’s new fabulous arches and was completely in love. The attention to detail and the natural look of these perfect, tiny, delicate hair strokes had me mesmerized! No colored-pencil fill-in look. No gramma’s uneven marker-arches to scare away the children. No awkwardly drawn-on misshapen stencils leaving you with a permanent quizzical expression. Ashton literally performs magic and spends as much time prepping and planning for perfection as she does actually creating her masterpiece nano brows. She’s like a scientist-meets-engineer-meets-brilliant-architect-meets-savant-artist. Everything is mapped out according to your bone structure and the layout of your facial features…it’s super interesting to experience (not to mention extraordinarily relaxing)! Ashton will forever be an angel in my eyes for caring more about my well-being than anything else…she is the reason I was able to kick the silly picking habit and forced me to focus on my triggers and avoiding them so my skin could heal before she worked on it. THANK YOU, ASHTON!!! This is the kind of selfless, humble, kind human she is – her clients’ happiness and health is so much more important to her than the commission earned. Her huge heart, her massive knowledge and eagerness to continue learning and pushing herself to be the best and the only provider of the most advanced technology in the industry, her humor and candor, her easy-going personality and caring nature…everything about her puts you at ease and you instantly know you are safely in the hands of an expert. I felt ZERO pain (in fact, I was so comfortable that I started to fall asleep a handful of times listening to her great singing voice and the humming of the shading process) during or afterward! My brows presented a bit of a challenge with the large bare spots needing extra attention so she knew my touch-up would be the real “piece del a resistance” and she was concerned I wouldn’t feel the full weight of her exceptional talent after this first session…but let me tell you…I feel INCREDIBLE! The “incomplete” work of art is life-changing already – to wake up and look in the mirror without avoiding my own face in the reflection is indescribable. To not panic over who might see me sans-makeup…to not spend painfully tedious minutes drawing individual hairs with a special fine-tip brow pen and load on the setting spray in order to go in public…it’s pure bliss! I may never have my beautifully full, natural brows back like I had pre-Covid, but thanks to Ashton’s magical powers I’ll have even more beautifully tattooed ones that won’t disappear in the pool, or rub off on my pillow! I adore you, Ashton – can’t wait for my 6-week touch up to see you again! You made me feel good about myself again in a way I can’t explain to most people. XOXO

I was nervous before my appointment – not nervous about how my brows would look but mainly for how bad it was going to hurt.
