Lilly’s nails

Critical: QualityI really wanted to like these nails… I will say that it was very very clean and everyone was nice, there just wasn’t enough communication and the more I look at my nails, the more I find wrong with them. The design is very cute and I love the web and spider. He did find a brighter orange color for me. But I told the woman who greeted me that I wanted NexGen powder and that didn’t seem to be a problem. When I was taken back to the table, he starts doing acrylics. I have no way of knowing the difference – powder looks like powder to me. I didn’t realize it until he had poured the monomer and was already working on the first nail. Ok, whatever, I can deal. But my pinkie nail is sooo skinny compared to the others and as you can see from the pictures they’re practically ✨ taking flight ✨ Not only that but the top coat he used is peeling. And the corners of all my nails were so sharp they were snagging my clothes and I had to round out the corners on my own when I got home. I paid SO MUCH for these nails and I tipped him well. I really wanted to like these nails… I will say that it was very very clean and everyone was nice, there just wasn’t enough communication and the more I look at my nails, the more I find wrong with them. Positive: Professionalism, QualityI don’t usually get my nails done but I have gotten them done a couple of times. This is the first time I got them done here and I am very happy with the results. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI had a younger gentleman who was rude from the entry. He was sarcastic and rude, this gentleman lacked communication and people skills. I showed a reference photo of a French tip and my white tips are mid way through my nail. Half way through nail service he stated “we only take cash and check.” Prior to finishing my set he did not ask me to wash hands/nails full of nail dust and proceeded to put clear coat and set my nails. The more I look at my nails the more I hate them and personally find 50$ expensive for a basic French tip. On a good note, location was clean and other staff looked friendly. I showed a reference photo of a French tip and my white tips are mid way through my nail. They are quick and have great prices, and they also do a fantastic job on my acrylics. Their techs are very talented and are able to do any style I’ve ever requested. Lilly’s is the best nail salon I’ve been to in Abilene by far! They are quick and have great prices, and they also do a fantastic job on my acrylics. Their techs are very talented and are able to do any style I’ve ever requested. All my coworkers go there as well, and we are hard on our nails since we work in a restaurant, and nobody has ever had an issue with their acrylics lifting, breaking, etc. I highly recommend them!!
