I loved the service I received! The girls are very friendly and are always on the lookout and asking if you feel comfortable! I felt very comfortable there, the decoration is very nice, I was stunned with some little details! But let’s talk about my hair! So far it is one of the best salons I have visited, they treat the hair delicately, I went with a photo of what I wanted and received much more! I really loved everything, and I’m sure I’ll be back more often.

Do not go if you have natural hair. I’m pretty sure they permed my hair because it is soooooo damaged. When I washed my hair I smelled the chemicals. They should be ashamed that they are ruining peoples hair this way if you don’t want to do black natural hair as it is just say that! We spend years growing our hair healthily just to have unprofessionals ruin it. I should call the licensing board and report y’all.

DO NOT COME HERE. I used to go all the time but I will never go again. One of the ladies that normally does my hair, BURNED IT OFF and didn’t say anything. When I found out what happened, she wouldn’t give me money back and said it wasn’t her fault. THAT IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS. I will NEVER waste my money here ever again!

Natural hair ladies, DO NOT get any service from this salon, your hair will fall out. Went for a wash & style. The shampoo that they use is definitely permed. They do not care about the quality and maintenance of your hair. It wasn’t until my workout session I began to notice the smell, my hair smelled disgusting! A relaxed chemical smell! After shampooing my hair myself, I noticed shedding of my hair and red spots in my scalp. The texture of my hair has changed and my curl pattern is not the same. Highly DO NOT recommend.

I had been going to this salon for 2-3 years. I would only get a blowout like once per month. I only had one bad hair experience with one of the stylist. Other than that all the other stylists did my hair very nicely and it held very long. I have natural hair and a few times I did have to continue to tell them how to deal with my hair when shampooing it. And the shampoo person and the owner we’re trying to tell me the opposite of what I know about how to healthily deal with my hair. They ended up doing as I requested. I also had to bring my own brush. The last time I went there approximately two weeks ago, they did what they always do and that is take time to comb my hair out with conditioner in it prior to the shampoo. My hair gets tangled and can loc up if it’s not brushed through with conditioner and co-washed. The shampoo person did not know how to work with natural hair. I tried to tell/show her how it would be easier with conditioner and the brush I brought. She still struggled with it. Then when I went to go pay at the end, the owner charged me an extra $15. She had never done this before. Also she should have told me this at the shampoo bowl. I would have gotten up and went to the bathroom and brushed my own hair out. I even questioned the owner about this at the register and she saw no problem with how she did business. Professionally you should tell someone if you’re going to charge them extra, prior to doing the service.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityConclusion: Too much heat left me with a clear bald spot after about 2 weeks of pain. Long story short I felt too much heat under the dryer asked to have the dryer turned down but clearly the damage was already done. My scalp was in pain for about a week and then I noticed a scab beginning to form. After the scab came out so did a nice bit of my hair resulting in a bald spot.Full Story:I called ahead to make an appointment. Only one stylist was in the salon, a walk in literally walked in at the same time as me. The walk in was serviced before me and the stylist didn’t even bother to heck in with me to see if I was possibly the appointment.I came in for a blowout. I used to go to dry Bar in DC and recently relocated to the area. The stylist suggested a roller set and then styling. Growing up all I got were roller sets 20+years. Receiving blowouts is something I’ve done more recently (4 years). I have never had an issue with the dryer. I am not tender headed. This experience was painful and now I have a permanent reminder…The pain was pretty immediate and continuous I couldn’t see broken skin when I got home but that was likely because all of my hair was there blocking it. Once the scab began to form it was clear that the pain wasn’t for nothing… Now I have a bald spot… right next to my part.Service: HairstylingConclusion: Too much heat left me with a clear bald spot after about 2 weeks of pain.
