Kim was really nice but I don’t think she is comfortable doing Brazilian wax. She didn’t do any prep work on my skin and the wax stuck to it big time. She also seemed afraid to or unknowledgeable about making sure the skin was taught before pulling the wax. I know I’m old and have looser skin but she didn’t even try to make it tight before pulling the wax. I was in tears, soaked in sweat and unable/afraid to finish. I have been waxing for 15 years (minus the last 2 years of the pandemic) and never had such a painful experience. I had a lot of hair breakage and a ton of spots left when I tapped out so I’m very afraid of how many ingrown hairs this will cause. I will say maybe I was more sensitive or my hair was a little long (1/2 inch max) and I more than willing to not place all the blame on her. I really feel Brazilian isn’t her forte but she did do amazing with the soft wax and strips on my bikini line.
