My experience here was one of consummate professionalism. I got full body lasering done, which as a trans woman can be very anxiety inducing. However my laser technician was very good at putting me at ease and keeping my anxiety at bay. I spent two hours there getting my treatment and I’ve been enjoying the results. Black woman with coarse black hair here. I was on the hunt for a place with diode laser hair removal. When questioning LightRx I was mislead into believing that their tools were just as effective as what I was looking for on black skin. One full body package and thousand of dollars later, I look exactly the same as when I began treatment. A few of their techs are great but most were shoddy, I’m now realizing, after starting treatment at a location with the tools best suited for my skin and hair. I wasn’t straight up lied to but I was definitely deliberately misinformed.

The people were very friendly, however, after making it clear that I was there for the Botox service I was encouraged to sign up for their 25 dollar monthly membership, which I did. AFTER that I was told that their injector only works once per month. I feel that if I told the employee my main purpose for using the clinic was for Botox, I should’ve been told right away that the injector only works one day a month. I travel for work so this just absolutely does not work for my schedule, personally. I feel that it was sketchy of them to encourage me to sign up for the membership and inform me of the injector’s schedule after I paid the money. I am now trying to cancel my membership and get my money back since I will not be using their services, but it’s taken 3 phone calls to cancel and it’s still not cancelled, nor has my money been refunded. If you’re looking at this plane for Botox, I don’t recommend.

This place is actually using disgusting business practices to steal people’s money. Please report them to the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP). They try to lure you in with a “packaged deal” containing more than 1 service, when you start to realize their false claims/it isn’t working and you want a refund for the remaining UNUSED SERVICE they want to act foolish & play dumb to keep your money. If this happened to anyone else, please know your rights in the city of Chicago. They are not allowed to keep money for services never received. Your best bet is to report them to BACP and file in small claims court. Stay away from companies like these. Also if you have darker skin tones their lasers won’t work. Wish I listened to the reviews before giving these jokers my money.

I filed a consumer fraud report with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP), and I’m preparing to file a lawsuit. Steer clear of this company they are scammers. Know your rights.

The facility is nice and the staff is friendly. I gave a rating of three because they asked me what my schedule of services was when I thought someone had written it down or entered it into their system. Also, the ask for payment could go a bit quicker. Tell customers the price and keep it moving. The environment is nice and clean and comfortable. Great music and great staff.

I had my first visit 6/4/2022 and I look forward to my remaining visits. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable. They catered to my needs. Best of all they have Saturday appointments which helps tons since my work hours don’t allow me to go get my treatments during the week.
