Great service. Micro current therapy is amazing. It was used on my neck and shoulders, and I have been pain free for a week! Amazing.

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismThis is a cautionary tale to those early in a pregnancy! Customer service and transparency could definitely be improved upon.My husband booked me a massage as a gift and when I showed up I noticed on the intake form that if you are under 14 weeks pregnant they cannot give you a massage. I immediately notified the front desk as this was not stated on the website in the spa policies. I was completely unaware that massages were prohibited as my doctor gave me the go ahead weeks earlier in the pregnancy. The spa insisted on charging us for the full service even though they refused it. They told me it was my husbands fault for not mentioning the pregnancy when he made the appointment. The cancellation policy states that no-shows and cancellations are subject to a charge, however this was a cancellation due to an unknown spa policy so seems completely unreasonable. I recommend that management considers clearly stating this in their policies to avoid unnecessary charges and wasting the time of their clients. This is a cautionary tale to those early in a pregnancy! Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityGreat experience, great atmosphere and great staff. You are definitely made to feel welcomed, relaxed and in good hands. I do not normally do spa-days or massages, but my wife and I both felt very relaxed after our sauna and massage treatments.

I had my first ever hot stone massage at Life Essentials over the weekend and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Leah Arnone, my wonderful massage therapist, was firm yet gentle, very intuitive, personable and professional. The staff at Life Essentials made us feel very welcome and we had a truly delightful experience! I will return when I am next in Steamboat. Thank you Leah and Life Essentials!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThis was my first spa experience since COVID started. It was super relaxing and they had great protocols in place that made my feel safe. Colleen was awesome and helped me work through some pregnancy sciatica that had been bothering me.

I brought my mom to Steamboat for a belated Mother’s Day celebration. On a whim we called Life Essentials and they were able to get us both in with two of their very talented therapists, Leah and Nate. Both of us came out saying that they were some of the best massages we’ve had. The atmosphere and staff are also top notch. We will be back and I’d recommend it to anyone.
