Lia doesn’t know how to cut Asian hair. She curb my hair as if it was straight despite it being (very clearly) wavy. Switched the direction my bangs were swept, so now it awkwardly shuffles back to it’s natural direction and ends up looking quite obviously uneven. Cut off 2in of hair despite me asking for 1in. Ignored the natural split in my hair, which contributes more to my bangs shuffling to a nasty position.

They did my hair fantastic and were very nice! The price was affordable and not overly pricey. Only the thing I have to mention is the cleanliness of the place, there was hair everywhere and products were not cleaned after use of each customer.. it could use some work other than that I recommend this place!

Ive been looking for a place that knows how to cut curly hair in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area. Came in with a mess of a hair color with dry ends and am really, really impressed with how my dresser (Lias daughter) handled it. I came in with my own color and because of this she gave me a discount for my dye (which was great!). Id say you get what you pay for, as the final price (for wash, color, cut, and style) was >$50, but Im ULTRA satisfied. (See before and after pics)

I am a college freshman at VT who usually goes to Salons for haircuts to ensure I get a professional cut that I can trust will come out well. This salon provided anything but that.Before my cut began, I showed my stylist 4 distinct pictures, 3 of previous haircuts on myself that I liked, and 1 that I didn’t like and which I wanted her to avoid. After viewing these, she turned me around away from the mirror and began buzzing my hair with no sort of guide or pattern before then chopping random chunks away with scissors. I asked her multiple times to face me toward the mirror so I could see what she was doing, but she would just turn my back to it again before starting to cut my hair again. My haircut strikes absolutely no resemblance to any of the pictures I showed her initially, other than maybe the single picture I said that I didn’t want to replicate.Aside from the terrible haircut, her combs and buzzers were covered in other people’s hair trimmings as if they had never been cleaned before, and everything in the place appeared dirty. Additionally, a friend of the owners came into the salon during my cut to eat his chipotle next to me, spilling food on the floor, chewing with his mouth wide open, and coughing uncontrollably without making any effort in covering his mouth.All I can say is this was the worst haircut experience I have ever had and I am genuinely surprised at how positive the rest of the reviews are.
