Move over, Gadabout! The next generation has leveled up. Clean, modern salon with all the pampering and attention to detail you’re used to at gadabout, but taken to the next level. This salon is quiet, modern, stylish and has a peaceful atmosphere. Clearly the new standard in Tucson. Taylor‘s unique ability to blend highlights and low lights into rich layered color has me flying in from San Diego every few months so Lewis + Ivy can do my color. Taylor adds warmer tones in fall and winter, then beachy blonde soft highlights in spring and summer. Love my color, will continue to enjoy the beautiful cut, color, balayage and hair care products offered here. The “Nourish” brand conditioner sold here restored my dry, tired swimmers hair into silky smooth locks.

Fabulous salon. Open and well ventilated. Everyone is professional and friendly. Jordyn did my Brazilian Blowout. She was SO meticulous and careful. It is a time consuming process and she was fabulous! My hair looks amazing. added bonus- she explained the process, asked me what my final goal was, gave me the BEST trim Ive had in years and she did not get water in my ears!! HIGHLY recommend this salon. * you get what you pay for!!

Jessi did an updo this morning. She went above and beyond to get me in the salon and did an excellent job curling and styling. The salon is beautiful and clean. Jessi was easy to talk to and professional. The products she used on my hair smelled great. After a little discussion about the style I was aiming for, Jessi gave me a great flowy romantic style which was exactly what I wanted for my pictures. I will definitely be back.

The issue I have is with person at front desk. Not friendly or welcoming, did not put me at ease – I was surprised. Happened when I came in to make a consultation appointment and yet again when I came in for actual appointment. Who do I talk to about this? Not sure! Because it was their Manager both times. My stylist Carissa was really good and it is so close to my house, but I expect to be greeted like a customer with maybe a “hello” as I come in. I don’t want to be greeted with a pout and the feeling that she’d rather be on her phone and I interrupted her. So disappointed.

I keep going back and forth on this review because sometimes I see the new highlights and sometimes it looks the same. My husband thinks it looks the same. I really don’t know but I’m going to give this shop a 5 star because the women were very friendly, they acted like they cared, the shop was clean…and I was OK with it because I think it will get lighter and lighter as I wash it. I want to mention Ellie because she was very meticulous at doing the highlights and the haircut she gave me is awesome!

I absolutely love Lewis & Ivey! Taylor has been my hairstylist since they opened their beautiful salon. Not only does my hair look amazing everytime, the level of customer service from Taylor and the entire salon is top notch. Every stylist is very respectful of people’s personal mask preference and will put one on if the client feels more comfortable. The salon is big enough that social distancing isn’t an issue. I find it sad the internet allows people to review a business based on mask wearing and social distancing and not on the service they perform, cleanliness, and customer service.. I for one respect businesses that allow me to be the adult that I am and have a choice to wear a mask or not.
