I’ve been going to see Kim for about 8 years now. She is very professional, friendly, and gives a realistic honest opinion about what will work with your hair. I normally stick with an ombré and she always blends it perfectly no matter what colors I choose. She also did my hair for my wedding and it turned out beautifully. I drive over an hour to go see her because the quality and price is more than worth it.

Critical: Quality, ValueIn April I came in for a balayage with Kimberly. Upon making my appointment with her over the phone, everything seemed OK. She asked me what ethnicity I was as she stated that this would help her determine what would work best for my hair. Keep in mind that it had been a long time since I had tried to color my hairwith anyone, because I’ve had bad experiences that were too expensive to repeat. Well, I must have bad luck because this was no different. First off, she did not let the color lift appropriately. Secondly, it was not toned or blended correctly so this left me with multiple patches of different tones of yellow, honey, and brown. To make matters worse, she trimmed my hair and left it uneven. I am positive she noticed the expression on my face after she finished blow drying it because she kept asking me if I liked it. I had to lie to her and tell her I did because she kept trying to convince me she had done a good job. She even offered to fix it, but at that point I knew I didn’t want her to touch my hair any further. In addition, I didn’t really know how bad it was until the next day when I saw the extent of it in the light. When I saw the multiple tones of colors, especially the yellow tones, I was sad and embarrassed to go to work. I ended up making an appointment at a different hair salon, to fix it, where they advised I should get my money back. They also insisted to cut my hair at NO CHARGE, because and I quote, “they couldn’t let me leave like that.” I don’t like leaving bad reviews, and I understand the difference between not liking your results and actually getting your hair ruined. Unfortunately, it was the latter for me that I had to submit a charge back and ask Kimberly to refund my money. Her response was not in defense to the “great job” she did, but rather stated that I had said I liked it, and she wouldn’t refund me because she didn’t work for free, well maybe she should.
