I get constant compliments by total strangers on my hair on a daily basis!I live in Pullman and made an appointment on a whim. I had gotten a dark rose gold balayage from a different salon last October and since then used Overtone or box dye on my hair. Going to a salon is usually really tedious for me so I have to be in the right mood. Also, I love long hair and was worried it was totally damaged and I’d need a haircut. I wasn’t even sure if I could obtain the color I wanted: purple. There are several salons in Spokane but I chose Lena’s after researching and reading reviews and I’m SO happy I did.They made me feel comfortable and kept checking to see how I was doing. I was nursing a pretty bad hangover and my stylist Leanne made sure I had water and tolerated my miserable self (haha). I ended up being there for about 6 hours total because of the box dye I had used and the state of my hair but it was TOTALLY worth it!Leanne brought my hair back to life and the color turned out even better than I expected! She gave me great advice on how to keep my color and my hair healthy. After all the treatments she did, I couldn’t stop touching my hair, I was amazed. No haircut needed after all.I’m so pleased with the result and the service I will definitely be making the trip up from Pullman when I want to get my hair done. Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueLena’s is the BEST there is. My family has been coming here for haircuts since I was a little girl because their services are of the highest quality. This week, I got my hair dyed for the first time, and it turned out EXACTLY the way I wanted! I got a brunette balayage from Leann (she specializes in the balayages), and I am absolutely obsessed. I also had a lovely time in her company, and it’s very easy to see the high level of expertise in how she performs her work. I can certainly say that I’ve never been so happy & confident with my hair. Worth every penny, and I had such a good time— thank you, Leann and Lena!Edit: I went back a year later to get it touched up, so I added more pictures! Lena’s is the BEST there is. My family has been coming here for haircuts since I was a little girl because their services are of the highest quality. This week, I got my hair dyed for the first time, and it turned out EXACTLY the way I wanted! I got a brunette balayage from Leann (she specializes in the balayages), and I am absolutely obsessed. I also had a lovely time in her company, and it’s very easy to see the high level of expertise in how she performs her work. I can certainly say that I’ve never been so happy & confident with my hair. Worth every penny, and I had such a good time— thank you, Leann and Lena!

I had complete virgin hair and was excited to try something different. I have brown hair so they had to bleach it first to get the purple I wanted to take. I wanted darker roots but they said that once they applied the purple all over it would turn the color I wanted it to be. I’m a hair novice so I had no idea if it was true or not. Well after 4 hours and ending right before closing time; they stated it looked great and were so happy with their work. It looked nothing like the picture with the balayage and color I showed them numerous times. It also looked kinda light. Needless to say I went home and got a better look at it and it was awful. I wanted to cry. It had so much blonde left in it and just wasn’t good at all. Also every time I took a shower the water was just dark purple. So I did some research and found Lena Hair Salon. I went in a morning after work and Lena treated me so well. It was my birthday and she was so kind, very efficient and knew exactly how to do my hair. I showed her the picture of what I wanted and she said that what they did wasn’t even close. She also said it wasn’t permanent color and just temporary for sure and they are notorious for using cheap dye. She fixes a lot of women who go to the two schools in town and she was very happy I didn’t let them try to fix it. She gave me a haircut first and then did my coloring. It took a few hours but I got EXACTLY what I had wanted and it was beautiful. I almost cried in delight and gave her a huge hug before I left. She says I’m only allowed to go to her now lol and that is a fact I will never go anywhere else. Lena and her daughter were so kind and efficient and I just felt so comfortable with them.
