The customer service in this place Is terrible. The hair cut…well, I’m still waiting for my hair to dry to let you know. Wondering why? It’s because I called to make a reservation for a wash and cut and gave the lady on the phone my name and number. You’d assume that’d be enough but when I got there that same lady was on the phone again so the second hair stylist took me and immediately cut my hair. Confused, I paid and walked out. Realizing that I did say wash and cut, I called back and the first stylist who was on the phone said “you should’ve said something. I was on the phone so I didn’t say anything. Shampoo doesn’t cost anything to us”

Made an appointment the day before and arrived on time for my teen daughter to have a haircut. We were greeted immediately and taken within a few minutes for a wash. For the cut, Darlene introduced herself and was very friendly and warm to my daughter. She asked her what she wanted and delivered just that. She gave her an incredible cut and blowout, all within around 35 minutes. (And my daughter has a thick head of hair) I am more than pleased and will be returning. The prices are incredibly reasonable, the salon is clean and the service is comparable to an upscale address. Give them a try.

Critical: ProfessionalismI took my younger son there and asked them to straighten his hair.They said he needs Carotene to straighten his hair. It wasn’t in their service list and couldn’t find price on their website. They charged me $100 for it.But after 5 days his hair changed to original courtly style.I went and ask the lady that you charged us $100 for this service and it didn’t work, you have to redo it. Critical: PunctualityJust today I visited the Williston Park location for a hair cut. Darlene did the shampoo and cut. She was short tempered with an attitude. She would ask me how I wanted my hair cut yet cut me off in the middle start cutting. I was terrified of her behavior. So to calm her down I complimented on her hair. But she continued to be annoyed with me. May be because I had requested her initially to clean the chair as I had seen hair and dust on the corners of the seat. She had said 2-3 times annoyingly it is just one hair. So maybe we had started off on the wrong foot. I told her if she didn’t cut me off and allowed me to ask questions, her opinion how I should have it cut may be there won’t be conflict. That annoyed her even more. Then I pointed out to my fine hair. She suggested that I take pills. I told her my dr had suggested not to take any pills. But she insisted. So I asked her why she kept suggesting the same was she trying to sell me pills? She said oh no my daughter took them and she has nice thick and long hair. Then she said may be my problem was genetic. So I politely told her It is not nice to say that to someone. So she got hyper with me while I got terrified again with the way she was handling my hair. I just wished someone else could come to my rescue. Anyway she made faces and told the other employee and customer there, see what I have to put up with. Finally the hair cut was over. I paid her in cash but she did not give me the receipt. I told her if her attitude would have been good I would have tipped her. She shouted, get our you psycho!!! Not sure if I would like to go there again!! Been going there on and off for last some over 30 years since I am out of country alot. Haven’t had this bad an experience before over there. I’ve been going here almost 3 years and normally I felt real good about the prices and haircut. Yesterday was the worst experience that I had. I showed the hairdresser a pic from a book how I wanted my hair. She glanced at it. I had my hair shampooed then waited.They were fitting me in since I didn’t make an appointment. I took my glasses off and the stylist added water since my hair dried. She just kept trimming and trimming. She’d turn to talk to someone. I was beginning to feel if she kept cutting my hair I’d be bald.
