Previously had left a 5 star review at this salon 3 months ago after Alicia gave me a great haircut of exactly what I requested. Unfortunately when booking a recent trim I discovered Alicia is no longer working here and I then requested Megan the Assistant Manager for my haircut in hopes that she’ll be continuing to work there and I won’t have to keep changing stylists. When I got to the salon they had changed my stylist to Shalynn.. Not many options to choose from, I have a hard schedule to find time for haircuts and they closed in 30 minutes so I proceeded with the appointment. I explained what I wanted as I have done the past two visits here “right above my shoulders, straight cut” she mentioned layers and I specified again straight cut. I took my glasses off for the cut and had my 3 year old with me who I was watching for the most part. When it was done, I knew I would never be booking with Shalynn again. Instructions were not followed. This hair cut is above my chin. She then tells me that she gave me an undercut to help swoop the hair in…. That was not asked for, it’s way too short to even fix, and when I arrived I had my hair in a pony tail, she had no clue how I style or part my hair. That why I have the simplest instructions. And unfortunately it’s not what I got. I had my three year old with me and I’m not going to cause a scene in a salon, but I’m disappointed by so many things that occurred with this appointment. Then when I got home and styled it I realized how uneven the haircut was… which just makes it even worse. I am attaching a photo of my last haircut with Alicia and the new haircut I received today by Shalynn.

Had a great experience at Lemon Tree Salon on Spring Hill dr.!! Crystal is an awesome stylist, and she always remembers what kind of style I get, whether it’s been 3 weeks or 3 months since my last trim… she always takes care of me without me having to go through the fear of wondering if the stylist is going to mess it up. Thankfully I’ve found my forever stylist, and if you’re looking for a superb haircut and an even better personality, then maybe you’ll find yours too! Thanks Crystal!!!
