The owner is a Licensed Cosmetologist, a Licensed Barber, a Certified Goldwell ColorTechnician, a Certified Product Consultant and an Elite Level Master Stylist. She has spent her career working in Boston and Dallas as a successful colorist, stylist and barber. She holds numerous awards and certification levels in both hair coloring and hair cutting. Lemon Meadow’s goal is to design the best plan for the health of your hair and deliver it to you with professional customer service.

Just up the front steps of the historic Redlands Hotel in downtown Palestine is a treasure. The Lemon Meadow Salon. My haircut and color from owner Nancy Bartram is of better quality than what I was getting in one of Dallas’ best salons. And not at Dallas prices! I couldn’t be happier. What a luxury to sit in the front window, having your hair done, while watching all of Palestine go by. And then walk inside the hotel and enjoy a wonderful lunch or a glass of wine at the bar. Local luxury!

My wife, who has dementia, and I thoroughly enjoyed Nancy’s style of getting-to-know the customer and her needs first and foremost. So, run don’t walk to meet ’n greet this remarkable treasure! P.S. Gents are welcomed clients as well. Oops! Almost forgot to mention that weeks after Nancy’s styling, my wife was still receiving quite a few unsolicited “I love your haircut” from the ladies!
