I gave this shop two tries as there aren’t many nail salons in Vernal. The shop owner’s daughter gave me a fabulous pedicure & was very kind which is why I’m giving two stars. I have gotten two gel manicures from the same guy who acts like he hates his job. I requested a simple design (literally, a dot) and was made to feel like it was an outrageous request. He also pushed back my cuticles with his fingernails and reused old Dremel bits. Neither of these gel manicures have lasted more than a week & the last polish dried super bumpy. Will not be coming back here & do not recommend wasting your money getting a service from someone who could seemingly care less.

I enjoy coming to Lee nails. They are good at what they do but I noticed a handful of people don’t understand the point in making an appointment if they’re 20 minutes late and charging you full price or overpriced without an apology it’s inconsiderate and unfair. If you know you’re too busy for an appointment just don’t schedule it!!!!!!!

I must say I am disappointed in my experience here. The only reason it is receiving 2 stars is because the establishment was clean and sanitary, and most of the staff were friendly. However, I am very upset with what I got and I don’t think I will be returning. For starters, my nails ended up way shorter than I initially had shown her. Not only that, but I was surprised she just cut all of the lengths without even comparing them with each other. As you can see from my pictures, my right hand has longer nails than the left. Next, my nails are crooked. Some of them are straight but others are slanted or crooked (pictured below). Also, I get that you can’t get every single part of the nail covered(and I don’t expect this) but there is no reason for there to be chunks not covered. I included a picture with the top nail that is fine, and the bottom nail that isn’t all the way covered. There is a big difference. I also want to say I think it is ridiculous that it’s $30 for them to put clear acrylic on your nails and then paint them, but it’s $45 if you want the colored acrylic powder. If I wanted to paint my nails I would’ve done it myself. I asked them to put a matte coat on top of it and as you can see in the image below, there are parts that are shiny and parts that are matte. I also had to pay an extra $5 because I didn’t want square nails. I mean I guess I get it, I asked for it, but I feel like that’s a little much especially when you’re using less product because you have less of a surface area to cover. Not only that but I asked for stiletto and I feel like they’re closer to almond. I was considering a pedicure while I was there, but as I watched them and the way my nails were turning out, I decided I just wanted to leave. I was clearly unhappy with what was being done and nobody said anything to me. The last thing I’d like to add in is that they had me dry my nails under their table lamp. It’s just a regular light that’s not it’s purpose. And it was burning my fingers to have them up there. As I said I am extremely disappointed.

1st: Cash only!!! Beware that is cash only. I say this because a few people basically use their last dollar not knowing this. Secondly I was a little leery about coming here based on the previous review but it wasn’t so bad. First of all he grinded the old shellac off instead of soaking it which at first made me mad but then I realized this might actually be better for the nails and soaking it in acetone. Then he asked if I wanted it short to which I said yes but not too short. Well I don’t know what his definition of two short is but they are pretty short I’m not really sure how much shorter they could get. However I was impressed that he made in the shape that I asked for which rarely happens in my opinion usually they make them the shape they want to make them. He did not put a primer under the shellac but did put three coats of color which I actually like. It really enhances the color to have three coats and most places I’ve been to only put two. He he did a really good job except for that the nail is kind of short and also he didn’t buff the ends after he filed them so the answer kind of rough. Otherwise I’m happy about it.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValuePlease don’t judge this business by the reviews. I read them myself and was initially turned off by the nasty things being said but I decided to see for myself and im soo glad I did. I’m from Georgia and am in town for work for the next couple months. I had the pleasure of getting a full set by Michael and I’m very pleased with the finished product. He engaged in conversation with me and went above and beyond with my application. I also had the pleasure of sitting in the waxing chair for my eye brows and chin area and although I didn’t get the young lady’s name she also did an outstanding job on my face. I will definitely be returning in three weeks for my fill in and please if you’ve been wondering about services at Lee’s Nails go check them out for yourself. You can make an appointment but each time I’ve gone they treat it like first come first serve so there’s really no point. The chairs are nice but the service is kind of lacking. I’ve been 3 times each for a pedicure and I’ve ended up leaving bleeding 2/3 times from the rough handling. Cuticle clippers are to clip. Not to be used to rip. The equipment is cleaned between uses rather than single use which always made me question how clean it really was. It is cash only (inconvenient but it is what it is and they do have an atm)

Critical: QualityNew in town looking for a good place to get a pedicure. Made an appointment for 2 of us to get pedicures. The pedicure was so basic, definitely not worth the price. I’m used to having a decent massage and either a sugar scrub/sea salt scrub. The tech who did my pedicure didn’t say two words to me. While there I looked up other places in town.I’ll have to check out the others so I can find a place to get a real full service pedicure with the works!New in town looking for a good place to get a pedicure.
