Critical: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismCame in New Year’s Eve and when I called, they said they weren’t busy yet at 9:15 in the morning.Arrived at 9:30 in the morning and they took me within few minutes. From the start, the person who happened to be the owner of the salon, seemed rushed. I guess I understood that as she anticipated it would get really busy. She sat me down immediately without asking me to wash my hands prior to. All the other salons I’ve been to have me wash my hands, especially with Covid. I came in for a fill-in only. I had gel on it along with a chrome color. About $60 is what I pay for gel and chrome. This time, I decided to go acrylic and regular nail polish. From start to end, she was done doing my nails in 45 minutes.The nail tech did an awful job. She didn’t hit all the corners and left part of my nail unpolished. She also kept applying nail polish on my skin and didn’t remove it. A kid could’ve done a better job at my nails. I could’ve done a better job, even with my problems with tremors and arthritis.I informed her of my concern, but she disregarded it. So, I asked for the bottle of nail polish and applied a third coat myself and became upset. I informed her that she left some of my nails unpolished.I am extremely disappointed at this salon and told them and the nail tech told me I don’t need to come back. I honestly shouldn’t have to pay for the nails that was done so poorly and sloppily. However, I didn’t ask for the money back. Instead, I will never come back to the salon. So unprofessional and so less than mediocre of a job performed when you come in to pay for service to be done.There are many more salons to choose from than this place. I just decided to try them out. Would rather go to TK Nails and Empress Nails and other local nail salons which are seconds away, just a few blocks!There should be no reason why my nails were rushed to be done just because it’s New Year’s Eve. Very poor quality, terrible management, un-apologetic, and rude when the mistakes were called out.To imagine, I never expected to polish my own nails when I go into a salon let alone pay for it.A big FAIL with this salon! Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI have been coming to Lee Nails for 15 years. I have ALWAYS received great customer service and left happy and satisfied. Over the years I’ve had everything done, though I usually gave a gel fill and color. The owners and their staff have high skill in their craft and treat everyone with respect. I was surprised to see anyone giving this place a low rating. I’ve been other places, and they simply don’t compare. Those that are disappointed are usually never happy and looking to complain or get something for free.Services: Manicure, Waxing, Acrylic nails, PedicureI have been coming to Lee Nails for 15 years. I have been coming to Lee Nails for 15 years. I have ALWAYS received great customer service and left happy and satisfied. Over the years I’ve had everything done, though I usually gave a gel fill and color. The owners and their staff have high skill in their craft and treat everyone with respect. I was surprised to see anyone giving this place a low rating. I’ve been other places, and they simply don’t compare. Those that are disappointed are usually never happy and looking to complain or get something for free.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy daughter shared a pic to the lady that was doing her nails of what she wanted. When the cut her nail down to the length she wanted my daughter said she just kept filing and filing which took off a lot of length. They then switched her to another guy to finish painting and she told him that’s not what she wanted. He told her no you told her how much to cut off. My daughter was about in tears when I finally stepped in and told him that’s not at all what she wanted. He was extremely rude to me. Of course charged us and I just told my daughter we will never go there again. When the cut her nail down to the length she wanted my daughter said she just kept filing and filing which took off a lot of length. They need training for their staff to ensure a relaxing spa experience. My limbs, fingers and toes were pulled, tugged, twisted and scraped hard during the pedicure and manicure. From the body language, I could tell there was a lot of insults and snickering under the breath to colleagues in his language as well. Service has gone down the drain. Even though I explained my skin was extra sensitive and I have painful feet and hands from arthritis, the guy was twisting and turning and at some point it looked like I was doing a leg lift while seated as he pushed and scraped. When filing he scraped so close to my skin that I had to pull back and he got annoyed as well. I felt very insulted and felt tense throughout the entire experience and I am never going back there again. He kept tapping to get me to relax but I was involuntarily tensing up from the pain he was causing. Save your money. Even if you have to spend a little more or drive a little further out, do that instead of supporting this so called “nail spa”. Never again. I’m not sure how this business is still open. Horrible place with terrible service. Looks like there are some staffing changes or they are understaffed. They need training for their staff to ensure a relaxing spa experience. My limbs, fingers and toes were pulled, tugged, twisted and scraped hard during the pedicure and manicure. From the body language, I could tell there was a lot of insults and snickering under the breath to colleagues in his language as well. Service has gone down the drain. Fiancée paid to have her nails done at this place, and requested her nails to be cut shorter and was refused. She asked multiple times but the woman would not comply with her requests, despite her stating that she works with animals and would be a danger to her and the animals to have her nails at that length. The constant tapping of my foot for lack of patience as a way to instruct me to move it every 5 seconds for a super rushed 20 min pedi was irritating. When I proceeded to go under the infrared light to dry, her tone of voice was loud & aggressive, “pay me now please.” The customer service is horrible. My favorite nail tech at Czar in Naperville is on vaca & I needed a quick touch up before going to Ohare. Big mistake coming here.The woman who serviced my pedicure was very rude. The woman who serviced my pedicure was very rude. She did not massage my feet even when I asked. The constant tapping of my foot for lack of patience as a way to instruct me to move it every 5 seconds for a super rushed 20 min pedi was irritating. When I proceeded to go under the infrared light to dry, her tone of voice was loud & aggressive, “pay me now please.” The customer service is horrible. My favorite nail tech at Czar in Naperville is on vaca & I needed a quick touch up before going to Ohare. Big mistake coming here.
