Extremely unprofessional business. From making an appointment, to showing up for a scheduled appointment to the actually service has left me shocked. I had to call multiple times to make an appointment and all but once did I get the answer “I have to call you back” with no return phone call. When I am finally scheduled and arrive for my first appointment of 2 I was rushed, constantly being upsold and overall felt like I was an inconvenience as a customer. I receive a phone call the day before my 2nd appointment telling me that it has been canceled and needs to be rescheduled. A month goes of me calling several times and leaving voicemails to reschedule with no answer. Finally after a month she picks up and I am immediately told “I will call you back”, I proceed to call back later that afternoon and after several minutes of back and forth being told the spa is closed for the summer, that I didn’t show up for my appointment, we can only do this time, I can’t do that time anymore finally agree on a day and time. When I showed up for my appointment the door was locked. When I called she proceeded to tell me that my appointment was for the day before but if I could wait 20 minutes she would be there. She did not show up in 20 minutes. I would recommend looking for a more professional spa to spend your money and time at.

I made an appointment with Pilar for a Obagi peel at 1 PM. I get to the spa and the door is locked. I call her and she says I’m on my way, after 20 minutes of me waiting outside she finally shows up. How unprofessional is that!? Then she takes me to the room to do the peel. I lay on the bed and she does not prep me like most other salons do. Did not cover my hair / head with a cap, or protect my eyes. Then she starts the peel. She starts applying the Obagi peel with a Qtip! That did not seem right either. She did not cover my whole face with the Obagi peel solution. Then she only left it on for a few minutes. The entire facial only took 30 minutes. Most facials take about one hour or more. After the peel she sold me $400 worth of Obagi products to use after the peel. I did the research on Obagi peels, you don’t need all those Obagi products, waste of money!! ( I did the research after I bought the products) Then there was no formal instructions on how to use the products. I had to ask her to write it down for me. This whole experience was SO unprofessional!! And a total waste of $600 for the peel and the products. And I didn’t see a difference in my skin at all. I still have the brown spots on my face I won’t be surprised if they run out of buisness!! Pilar needs to brush up on her professional skills.

I had an appointment scheduled for this morning. I paid on Groupon for a facial. I wrote it while we were on the phone. I set appointments for work, so I check and double check. I was very excited to have an acne facial. I was hoping it would help improve my skin. When I arrived, the spa had made an error and wrote for Friday at 1:00 instead of Wednesday at 9:00. She was with a customer and asked if I could return at 1:00 today. I arrived – despite it being a work day. No one was there. I called and called. No answer. I would understand if an emergency came up for them. But as it is, I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism in how they have handled my appointment(s) today. I have lost valuable time on a work day. Worse, they have ignored me after I was trying to be understanding of their mistake this morning. Very unfortunate.

I found this salon on Groupon and Pilar was very kind and flexible scheduling me with my hectic schedule. She is professional and efficient. I have done a Obagi chemical peel, 2 Microneedling sessions and my skin is looking great. With my new Obagi and SkinCeutical products and treatments my skin looks better than ever.
