Wouldn’t even rate it one star,Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon, me and friend came from out of town and my toes are hideous, they didn’t even drill off my previous acrylic. we should’ve left after two other girls were complaining this place is so unprofessional and rude. Do not go here, they will charge you for everything and leave them hideous.

I’ve never ever been treated this way and I need to discuss this. I made an appointment at 3:30 for a regular mani pedi and I walk in on time. They have 3 girls there and do not seat me for 20 minutes. They did a great job at my pedicure and while I am getting a pedicure I see them deny two groups of colored women who came in wanting to get pedicures. They let them know they’re booked and full…shortly after a group of 4 elder while women come to sit down and get pedicures….they dropped EVERYTHING and left me with acetone soaking on my nails….FOR 45 WHOLE minutes while they worked on these women who had appointments wayyyyy after me. Guess what time I got out for a regular mani pedi??? ALMOST 3 hours later!!! The acetone was on me for so long it dried on my skin, they also had absolutely no fans or dryers for my nails so they were ruined and had to be readjusted after I was already told they were dry. Please Never ever judge your customers status by the way we look. How come you didn’t drop everything for me or any of these other customers when they walked in but you did for those ladies???? A shame. I’ve never been treated this way and plan to share my experience everywhere I possibly can.

I have been coming to Leann’s Nails since moving to Alameda three years ago. I have tried other shops but this is the best in town. They are professional, give a wonderfully relaxing experience. I look forward to this once a month for me time.. recommend the hot stones as a nice add on. Manicure, Foot massages, Gel manicures, Pedicure

This is not a quality gel manicure service. It is worth paying $10 more at another nail salon. The paint is uneven and little bumps left on the nail. The filing is looked over too.

To begin with, they did a decent job with my manicure and pedicure. While Leann was doing my manicure, I already informed her that I only have cards to pay her from and I did not bring cash. After I was done she said I’ll take card this time but next time bring cash. Then, when I gave her my Amex, she was like we don’t take Amex and then I gave her other credit card, she was still like we don’t take any credit cards only debit card which I did not had with me. Who keeps cash and debit card all the time these days! When I said to her that all other nail salons take credit cards at least then she simply nodded her head and was like no; no nail salons take that. She acted like this is the only nail salon in Alameda people go to. Then at last, she took my credit card and said we get charged so much by banks if we take credit cards. Well, that’s not customer’s problem at all. On top of that she was giving me attitude by saying next time, before getting your nails done ask me about the payment..Lol; I am never even coming back to your salon after today anyway. The conversation got heated when I gave her my credit card and it got declined for I don’t know what reason and she just straight in front her employees put me down in high tone by saying that there is no money in your card. Well, how can you say to a customer that you don’t have money. Then, she wasn’t agreeing to take another card since she said she even gets charged for declined transactions. This was one hell of a day. Finally she took my another credit card and it went through but I felt insulted honestly. Even after having so many cards and money in them she made me feel like a beggar walking into her nail salon. Pathetic experience!

My gf went here and came back completely devastated. They messed up most of the nails, there are random bumps and misalignments on every nail, she’s too shy to complain, said she tried saying something and was told that the nails are good.

Leann has such a warm personality and excellent staff. She’s run her business for close to two decades and it shows in your customer loyalty. I’ve gotten a manicure and pedicure each time and it feels like a mini spa trip. Thanks for the great treatment every time.

Over charged and under delivered. They didn’t think I would catch the fact that they tried to overcharge me. Got the cat eye nail polish that looked nothing like the display. They didn’t scrub my feet even though I paid $45 for a “deluxe” pedicure. Trust me, don’t come here.
