I’ve searched for a nail tech I trust for the last 10 years since moving back to Ohio. About a month ago I went to Le Nails and Johnny did my nails. It was everything I look for in a salon, good prices, full bar, nails turned out beautiful, and having your nails done by Johnny makes you feel like you are just conversing with a fun neighbor, he’s hilarious. I’ve now had my second set by him and I’m very pleased!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueMy nails were done on Wednesday 10/20/21 not only was I charged $160 for uneven nails but my one nail chipped on 10/21/21 I called FIRST thing Friday morning 11:15am 10/22/21, I was told my nails were really long that’s why they chipped and in order for someone to fix my nails they would charge me! My acrylic is uneven, that’s why they chipped! The guy that did my nails put wholes in my real nails which left me no choice but to have them cut down. None of my nails are even! The lady who took my payment has a TERRIBLE attitude, she talked to me like I wasn’t knowledgeable about anything and couldn’t accommodate or fix something I didn’t intentionally do. $160 wasted. My nails were done on Wednesday 10/20/21 not only was I charged $160 for uneven nails but my one nail chipped on 10/21/21 I called FIRST thing Friday morning 11:15am 10/22/21, I was told my nails were really long that’s why they chipped and in order for someone to fix my nails they would charge me! I finally found a nail salon that I am completely happy with. My nail tech wasn’t quite able to do the design I wanted so she asked if she can do her own thing. I said yes and I’m so glad I did. What she did looks better than what I asked for.

The technicians did a decent job, but this place is FILTHY! The pedicure chairs and the manicure chairs and the floor are just filthy. The sinks were clean. I didn’t even want to sit in the pedicure chair. They are also really “wimpy” massage chairs, very mild, not super comfortable. They have a full bar which seems fun. I didn’t see anyone purchase a drink. I’m honestly not sure I’d go back. They had bags in the foot spas so I know this sounds dumb I don’t think it was unsanitary where it counted … but there was hair ALL over the nail seat next me, and literal spilled drink splashes on the chairs which as you know get sticky and have dirt stick to them etc. Even spilled nail polish marks on the floor. They need to hire a proper cleaning staff to go in and give that place a SERIOUS clean! I called a friend and she said she stopped going for the same reason – another family member went once recently and said the same thing. Did a nice job on the nails but just WOW on the dirt!

Tonya is great! I have gone to her three times now and have always had a great experience. This last time I went to a guy (didn’t catch his name) and I’m pretty disappointed. After I week I already want to get the nails redone as the edges are over painted and they catch on the hair. Oh, also note, tips are cash only!

My girlfriend and I got dip manicures and pedicures, I also got a full set. We showed the techs pictures of what we wanted based on pictures posted on their FB. We paid $320 for complete botch jobs. My nail was bleeding at the cuticle, my girl’s skin was covered in polish/dip, and the art and designs look like garbage. Not to mention my tech at seat 11 was totally rude. When I showed her the design I wanted she tried to talk me out of it, saying it’s “very expensive” and I wish she would have just told me it was out of her skill range. For the amount we paid, we should have LOVED our nails. We don’t even like them.

In which I went there before when they are booked at Lee. After my nail appointment I spoke with the owner and I expressed how I was unhappy with the service cost which they charged 35 for nails , 6 for French tip and 5$ because the painted the French tip different colors.even though every time I went there and got the same length acrylic plus gel nail polish ended being the same price as the regular polish in which I was never charged 5 for different colors. And you would think since they charged for the tip it would include the nail polish but no it’s two separate charges .in which he was completely unprofessional could of care less and stated next time we will give you the price before starting the work .did not even apologize over the fact that there was miscommunication. I politely stated I will not be using their service.but it been two day the tip isn’t even, the work is sloppy and now the nails are coming off from the side . I usually have nice pedicures at this shop but I’ve found it has gotten increasingly loud ( talking service providers) and it’s in a foreign language for the most part so it’s not like the rest of us can just join in on all the fun and laugh along. It’s not relaxing and it’s impossible to read or otherwise amuse oneself. I’ll go back, but it won’t be for the atmosphere.
