I’ve never made a bad review about any business but this place. FOREST HILLS Techs don’t know what they’re doing. Cheap Cheap Cheap Repeat Cheap. Poor customer service. Don’t go here. I had to go to another nail shop to fix their 25yr experience Le(so he said) techs poor work. Kept asking if I wanted X-mas colors smh no. REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. *Google made me tap one Star to post this. Smh.

I made an appointment to receive a gel manicure. I show up for the appointment only to be turned away because “they don’t do acrylic removal”. What nail salon doesn’t remove or soak off acrylic? They come off as lazy and very unprofessional why is this place still in business??

Hong did a rush job and my Pedi turned out terrible. Nails filed uneven and the polish was applied unevenly, and I had asked her for 2 thin coats. She skipped the massaging step and did an overall lousy job in general. It’s difficult to communicate because of language barrier, and she just exudes rudeness. Perhaps she hates her job. I’ll never go back.

I had a pedicure at 3pm. It was all good until the next morning. I woke up and 6 toenails were all messed up. The polish apparently never dried. Ok, so stuff happens. I went in to have them repolish and explained I wanted to change the cor because the previous required too many coats of polish and I did not want to chance the same outcome. Because they would also have to change the 4 good times to the new color they said they had to charge me. Well, I refused. It made no sense. So I told them to give me the remover and I would take the polish off so they could repolish with whatever color I requested at no charge. Finally the owner? Agreed but made made me come in the next day. All over 4 nails and two of them were pinky toes. If I had not removed the polish myself, they were insisting on charging me. Shameful over $10.00. I’ll go elsewhere next time.

Went in for a fill last week and now two nails are missing I called in to advise them and was told it’s my fault bc I have “long nail” and need to be more careful.. Absolute terrible experience at this salon. They grinded my natural nails down so thin that they were red and in pain. Then she insisted I soak them in acetone which I had to refuse because it was so incredibly painful. I asked and pointed to the color polish I wanted, a dark slate gray color and I walked out with a pale pink on my nails. I tried to explain my frustrations to them and they simply could have cared less. I will never stop there again. Several other people in the salon were upset with their service while I was in there. 0 stars.
