Lavish was started in 1995 with the dream of creating a safe space for young stylist to learn their craft and accomplish their career goals. We have embraced a pay it forward ideology from day one. Training and education are in our DNA as a salon, and we believe it is what sets us apart from others. We call our customers out “guests” because we want them to feel like a guest in our home. We believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect regardless of race, gender, age, or income level. Everyone is deserving of a ‘LAVISH’ experience!

This was my first time at Lavish and Tara did an amazing balayage and trim. There was a spot that didn’t quite get covered with the new style I wanted. This spot was from a previous hair style and stylist work (not Tara’s fault). Instead of leaving slightly unsatisfied with my hair Tara pulled out all the goods AGAIN and fixed me up. She also put together a plan for my hair to get it back in shape of what I am really wanting. She was nice about it and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable, even though I was the one making it an inconvenience. I left very happy with my hair and feeling confident about myself again. Thank you Tara! She also styled it in a way I actually wear my hair, unlike most stylist I’ve been to. My hair wash was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. Establishment was clean and professional.

They were sweet enough to squeeze me in last minute after I messed up my box dye and had hot roots. The receptionist was very sweet and so was Sarah M. my stylist who did a great job. She also had a guy help get my root shadowed, cannot quite recall his name but he was very nice as well.

I got a terrible haircut at this salon. I originally made an appointment with an stylist that has previously cut my hair and I loved it, however; this time she didn’t have time for me which I thought was so unprofessional she could’ve just rescheduled the appointment. Well another stylist comes and tells me she will be cutting my hair, she was rude about it and I felt obligated to let her cut my hair. I trusted thinking everyone here is talented. I asked for bangs and layers. Well she cut my hair way shorter than what I asked, and my bangs were so choppy and short I was in shock and just wanted to leave. She clearly knew she did a terrible job and got nervous, to the point that I didn’t see her again after she was done. This was two months ago and my hair is barely growing. Never coming back here.

One word GISELLE! She is seriously SO talented. I told her what I wanted and she executed it perfectly while keeping me laughing the whole time (she’s super funny and a straight shooter) I found my new hairstylist… I had been searching because my previous stylist moved to New Orleans. I needed my hair colored and most women know how scary it is to try something new with your hair. My stylist was Abby and she was very honest and set realistic expectations. My hair is curly and a mess. I wanted an ashy balayage. My hair is dark brown and usually turns red when I try to lighten it. Abby wasn’t sure my hair would lighten up enough in one appointment. I was happy that she was willing to try but not go so far as to damage my hair trying for a look that was unrealistic.

I was colored and styled by Gisselle, who did an AMAZING job!! I was looking for someone to fix my hair which had patches of bronze ugliness. For the past years i’ve been box dying my hair black and recently went for a color correction and highlights. I got that (kinda), but wasn’t pleased with the results. So I desperately needed someone to help me and Gisselle did just that!! I am literally so happy with my hair and I love the color she achieved!! I already scheduled my next appointment because I was so pleased with the service I received. On top of Gisselle being amazing, everyone else was very nice and helpful! The salon is beautiful, the chairs are comfortable, they have a variety of snacks and drinks, and overall such a good experience. 10/10 would recommend to ANYONE needing ANY hair service!!!

I had a highlight done with Sarah and a cut done with Andrea… I must say, I have never ever left a salon as happy as I did!!! The color is stunning, the cut… she did exactly what I had in mind & I’m in love!! On top of that, they were so kind, engaged in conversation, took their time, and you could really tell they loved what they do. Always offering a drink, snack, blanket, or if I was comfortable. They were both helping each other to get everything done perfectly. Most professional salon I’ve ever been to and I will only be going to them from now on.

Had a great experience! First time at this new location with my hair stylist, had to follow her here! LOVE Jamie, she always does an amazing job on my hair! I love this new salon for her. Everyone here is absolutely sweet! I was greeted the moment I walked in and out. The salon is also clean and organized, even if it weren’t I’d understand their busy and clean probably at night but it’s impressive how clean it is while super busy during the day! And last, the hospitality is amazing! Definitely recommend Jamie and this salon to anyone, will be recommending to friends and family!
