I have been going to heather for multiple years now, I live an hour away and she always tries to find the time to fit me in, Heather has never been disrespectful, or has ever been anything but kind to me. She does magic with hair, that’s the reason why she’s so busy.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityHeather has been doing my hair for many years now, she is hands down the best!! Love the salon and I love her attitude, our convos and most of all her attention to detail when it comes to my needs. She will never do anything I ask for if it isn’t in the best interest of my hair. She listens and puts her professional input into doing her job. My only regret this time is not getting my hair done sooner! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! Thank you always friend!!! Best salon around! I have used Heather for several years now and I always walk out of her salon with my hair looking amazing! She always delivers exactly what I want, but without putting the integrity of my hair at stake. If you’re looking for a top notch stylist that knows what she’s doing, look no further. Heather is your girl!! Haircut, Hair coloring, Hair highlighting, Hairstyling, Balayage

Critical: Professionalism, ValueOwner (Heather) is extremely rude and unprofessional. First time she did my hair- great, no complaints at all. Second time she did my hair, not only were my roots a different color than the rest of my hair, but my hair was so badly damaged, that I was in tears. I messaged her and sent her pictures even showing the damage and the roots being poorly mismatched. She said she didn’t know how that happened but she could fix it if I came in the next day. I asked her twice within a 10 and a half out span to tell me what time to come in, even though I honestly didn’t even want to at that point due to how badly broken off my hair was (that she refused to even acknowledge even with pictures). She never responded to me asking her what time to come in. Then at almost 10pm, I finally message her again and politely ask for her to refund me my $180. She refused to do so, and said that “I’m being that person wanting something for nothing” and refused to take ownership of the issues she did, by saying how I went out to my car to sit so that might be the problem, or how me just having a baby was the problem, (even though the first time she did my hair, was AFTER I had the baby and it was fine.) Literally anything but, “I’m sorry for the problem” came out of her mouth. She then went on a tangent telling me how awful I am and how I’m the problem, and how she’s seen this before because she’s been doing this for “17 years.” (Like I’m making this up.) She was cussing at me and being extremely disrespectful and told me that my hair WASN’T damaged, and somehow this is all my fault. She also said that she was busy and I’m being unrealistic about asking her to tell me a time within 10.5 hours, saying “sorry I’m not responding to you on YOUR time frame. Can’t believe you’re ‘bashing’ me for that.” Why in the world would anyone want to go back to someone who speaks to them so unprofessionally? I was told by several people not to go to her because of how rude she is. I didn’t see it at first, but now I see why. Don’t waste your money with her.Service: Hair coloringOwner (Heather) is extremely rude and unprofessional. First time she did my hair- great, no complaints at all. Critical: ProfessionalismThe business owner, Heather Jones, of Lavish Salon performed a salon service on my hair on Nov 4, 2020. It was the 2nd time she had done a Brazilian Blowout on my hair. The first time, the process was perfect and lasted nearly 2months of straightened, tangle free hair upon being washed and dried. The 2nd time having this service done by her did not work. My hair was tangling, frizzing and started to curl. I contacted Heather Jones within a couple of days of the service to let her know something was wrong, because my hair was not performing as it did the first time. I have record of a conversation through text messaging of her stating it was the 2nd time that week, she had a client state the same issue, as well as another stylist in the salon having one of her clients complain with Brazilian blowout issue. She blamed the process not working on the chemical products used in the process and stated she would redo the service, but that we would need to wait a few months, so the chemical would not damage my hair. I agreed to this solution. It is now April of 2021, and I’ve set 4 different appointments with Heather Jones to take care of promised services, only to have her continually cancel them to be rescheduled at a later date. Upon the last cancellation by her on the 19th of April, 2021, I asked for the appointment to be reset ASAP. She cancelled stating her daughter was sick, and I responded with stating I was sympathetic to the issue but really needed to get the appointment taken care of before the 28th of the month. This is when Heather Jones started sending harassing test messages, insinuating I was trying to pull something, called me crazy sounding and offered to give me half of my original payment from November 4, 2020. I responded stating if the service would not be honored, I wanted my full refund. She continued to harass me with rude messages and let me know I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable in her chair at this point. So now, I feel threatened by her. I asked that she simply refund and I sent a Venmo request, as this is how she receives payment transactions, for the full amount. She only sent 87.50 of the original 175.00, of which she had also received a $25 tip on top of the process fee, so the entire payment she received for a service that I did not, was $200 on the 4th of November,2020. I want a full refund, since she openly admitted there had been an issue with other clients, and that I was not the first, and she has been unwilling to provide a replacement service, and has now harassed me to the point I feel unsafe in her chair, due to her threatening behavior. I am not the her first client to feel victimized by her, and multiple times while in her chair, she made fun of clients with complaints, calling them crazy or accusing them of trying to get something for nothing versus actually taking care of her paying clients. It’s truly distressing to be treated with such disrespect by someone I supported as her client, and tried to promote through referrals to help a local small business owner.04/19/21 11:38am.The owner has now concurrently sent aggressive messages continuing to behave verbally threatening towards me, telling me to remove my review, as well as using highly aggressive curse words in her texts, after I sent two requests for her to stop. The business owner, Heather Jones, of Lavish Salon performed a salon service on my hair on Nov 4, 2020. Critical: ProfessionalismI was scrolling through Facebook and saw where the owner of this business was in a discussion on a thread and openly asked someone if they were American citizen because if not, they should take their opinion somewhere else. When asked why it would be assumed that they weren’t a American, she said, “Based off your pics.”She later tried to backtrack and say that she was asking if this girl lived in America. Which is not at all what the comment said. Then deleted the original comment? Don’t worry, honey. Plenty of people got screenshots. It’s 2020. Racism is lame.I was scrolling through Facebook and saw where the owner of this business was in a discussion on a thread and openly asked someone if they were American citizen because if not, they should take their opinion somewhere else.
