After using the same nail salon for 4 years, my nail tech recently moved to Arkansas with her new husband so he could learn to fly planes for the Air Force. As a local hairstylist and beauty expert myself, I know and understand how scary it can be to go and try someone new. After doing some intense Google searching for a new nail tech, I found Mimi at Lavish Nails and Spa and I am so thankful I did! The reviews speak for themselves! She did a phenomenal job on my new set and fixed a bad job done by a newer nail tech at another nail salon location. My nails were crooked, falling off, and just overall terrible. Their prices are extremely reasonable, they are quick, and I would 100% recommend Lavish Nail Bar to anyone looking for a new and high end nail bar that offers drinks and an overall great vibe.

This is my second time going to Lavish nails. Todays experience made me explore the negative reviews and as I looked at the negative reviews, it helped justify my feelings toward this place. Lavish nails attempts to explain their “why” and doesn’t care about their customer experience. In September, I went to get gel and I got there at 2 pm and let them know I had a 4:30 appointment. Half way through, another tech noticed that it supposed to be gel, not regular (my tech was still using the curating light) I didn’t notice she was using regular polish. My tech was apologetic but it set us back. She was the flustered and rushed through and didn’t do the best job. I paid and left. I had already missed my 4:30 appointment, I was upset and decided to go back because a couple of the nails were not good, they took me back and fixed them, but it wasn’t a “I’m sorry, let us please make it right”. I tried to give them another chance, i planned to take my two daughters. I let them know my other daughter would join us when she was done with her other appointment.( Both under 10) they said I would have to make another appointment. I was left wondering what they. My other daughter came as my oldest daughter was finishing. They then proceeded to tell me that my youngest daughter had to wait 45 minutes because she wasn’t there when we walked in- it’s little nails! They don’t take that long. It just wasn’t a very good experience. They lack that extra customer service. We were walk in and got sat down right away, they started right away too! The nails that we got done were good and my daughters tech was great and he was friendly! My tech was okay but she seemed rushed and in a hurry and there was a language barrier there. I got glitter on my ring finger and she left a bare spot. If they were pressed for time and couldn’t accommodate all 3 of us because of other scheduled appointments, just say so up front. Second time leaving this place frustrated and not relaxed. If you’re looking for a relaxing, self-care experience. This might not be the place.

Mimi is AMAZING. I hadn’t gotten my nails done in some time as I hate how thick the gel dip manicures come out. I went here after they opened as I saw someone post about how great Mimi is. My nails are always thin and never break, chip or crack even after three weeks. Gel manicures

I’ve had some bad experiences lately at other salons so I found great reviews on Lavish and decided to give them a try. Wow I am so happy! not once did I feel rushed and they never tried to cut corners. All of the ladies were polite and you never had the feeling of when they would talk to each other that they were talking bad about anything. The ladies talked to me more than most salons and were constantly communicating with me on my needs and gave me exactly what I wanted. Im very thrilled with this place!

Great place! Hailey is my nail tech and she is super amazing. She helps you find a color that is just perfect as well as good conversation. Very pleased and relaxing environment. Will not go anywhere else. Gel manicures

They were very nice, professional, friendly and the place was clean. The only reason I had to give it 3 stars is my gel manicure started chipping 5 days after I got my nails done. Usually when I get a gel pedicure, my nails last a minimum of 2 weeks, and usually 3 weeks before they begin to chip. Very disappointed that I paid this much $ for nails that didn’t even last a week.

I moved to Wake Forest a year ago and have tried a few nail spas. I tried Lavish and had a great experience the first time with Cindy. I have been back several times. I see either Cindy or Lilly for clear gel and pedicures. I have not had one experience that was less then what an expected. They always do a great job and are very friendly and professional. The owner always greets me and stops by during my service to say hi. They can accommodate one or a party ! Love them!

Sumate has been doing my nails for about 5yrs now. He first started doing my nails at a different shoppe and I followed him to Lavish. He is absolutely amazing!! I get dipping powder over my my natural nails. I have included a photo of my nails from today. Lavish is a new beautiful upscale nail spa. I highly recommend both Lavish and Sumate!!

i’ve gone 3 times. every single time i go, the acrylic on one of my nails ends up breaking. i’ve had this set for only a week, and the acrylic came off 2 nails. mimi doesn’t seem focused when she’s working, she’s talking to everyone, gets up several times. i don’t think i will go again Acrylic nails
