I’ve been here before and loved the nail tech I had. This time I had a guy and he was really nice… but he cut into my fingers when filing the sides of my nails. It hurt then — but i didn’t even realize until I left. Again they look good I’m happy.. but he cut part of my cuticles and finger when filing.

This was my first time at this salon. I will be back. The service was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. I am not sure of the spelling however my nail profession’s name was “Mo”. Very impressed! Keep up the hospitality, expert work/talent and attention to detail. Special acknowledgment to the host who greeted me. Very kind and thoughtful to me. I also observed him helping a lady who was having trouble with her vision and using the remote to her chair.

I’m really happy with my experience at Lavish! The artist did a great job, the check in was easy, and everything was clean and comfortable. They were pretty busy when I was there so an appointment is probably a good idea depending on the day/ time though they do take walkins as well. This was my first time getting a real manicure and I’ll definitely go back.

I’ve been getting my nails done for as long as I can remember. I’m talking like since I was 14 years old. The person I’m used to going to was booked so I decided to give Lavish a try. I was very appreciative that they fit me in, however it was not the most pleasant experience. My nails are healthy and I’ve been getting ONLY gel polish for over two years now. So I show them what I’m wanting and they begin doing my nails. Now, I’m unsure of what specific acrylic they used on me but when I tell you it BURNED on my nails…. I’m talking it burnt so badly that I was sweating and almost pulled my hand away so I could go run my fingers under some water. It was really bad. They did my nails and they did look good but I wasn’t given the price until afterwards and it was actually kinda insane for what I got done. It cost me $85 and that was BEFORE the tip. And I didn’t get anything super special at all. My “nail art” was only a couple of lines…. So about a month goes by and I decide to go to someone else. When this person began the removal process of the acrylic it took over an HOUR just to remove whatever acrylic was used on me because the Acrylic was so thick on my nail. I’m giving two stars because the customer service was fine and the design was good but after that experience I just don’t think I would ever be willing to come back. Attached is a photo of the nails I had done (I didn’t take a picture of them by themselves)

A bit expensive but well worth it. I never have to wait long for an appt, I’ve had a different nail tech every time but they are all so incredible!! I’ve never had a bad experience here. 10/10!

Lavish nails is one of the most talked about nail salons in Lexington. With that being said, you’d think they would do a better job. It was my first time coming back here in years and I remembered why I stopped coming. Everything is WAY over priced and they don’t tell you how much it will be until they’re finished. If I had quality work done, I wouldn’t mind to pay a little bit more, but that’s not the case. The nail tech I had was NOT good. She cut all of my natural nails off and glued tips on without even asking me. She cut each of my fingers multiple times and didn’t even acknowledge that. She was too busy watching what the other techs were doing to pay attention to my nails. They are thick and chunky and none of them are even remotely the same length. SNS should not have cost $60. I will not be back.
