So I’ve only been to this place one other time before and had no issue. This time I got my nails done with a friend just about two weeks ago and I strongly believe they did not properly sanitize the equipment they used on me. After about a week, my middle finger started feeling odd.. then about two days ago I noticed that the nail was not growing, and left a little space between my nail and the cuticle (first pic with gel nails). After some research, I believe I grew some type of fungal nail infection (which seems can happen from unsanitized nail eq.). I have had my nails done from several other places before and never had an allergic reaction or issue until now. I called to explain and the girl on the phone was very understanding, and told me to come in to get them off, and to see what I can do to care for them. The lady who did my nails took them off for me, but didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself and went right for my nails. I kept flinching because she wasn’t cautious with my nails at all, and once she got to the middle nail, it ended up coming off more than it did even before the appointment (second pic). She said “oops your nail broke!” and laughed it off, and still charged me whatever it was to take them off. Now, it’s even more raw than before, and it’s painful. I’m very displeased with the service I received here.

Critical: Quality, ValueThey don’t pay attention to detail. I booked an appointment here because I was under the impression it would be more of a high end experience in comparison to the average nail salon. IT’S NOT. They fail to pay attention to detail as you see in the pictures. There is paint on my cuticles which I removed most of while getting a pedicure— but was told that it will fall off not to worry. Also, the paint job was just over all sloppy, there’s no other way to put it. To top it off a service that should of cost $75 came out to $84 because they charge $3 per hour for Covid cleaning. I’m new to getting my nails done as my time is a luxury I can’t have for myself. This was my first time there. Very busy for a weekday afternoon but we’re able to fit me in for a pedi and mani within a reasonable time. I also got gel nail polish. My concern was for the lack of what was provided. Both services offer a massage and only one had was done for about 30 seconds… nothing for the other. Legs basically had lotion rubbed into them. Alot of pulling and tugging without eye contact. I only have a small amount of salons to compare with but my last mani and pedi in Glemont was calm wand felt warming. Timer brought out for massages,probably to show it was an appropriate amount of time. I won’t be coming back, the lack of detail shows… and even if it was one employee… that was enough since it was almost $100 with tip.
