Lavender park is my go-to salon for everything and anything. I have gotten hair color/balayage/ hair cut many times with Courtney, and each time my hair turns out fantastic. I have also seen Linnea for a balayage/hair cut, and Anna for a keratin treatment and both also turned out incredible. Not to mention the place is stunning and always super neat and clean. Highly recommend lavender park Southport for any hair care needs!

I have had such lovely experiences at the Sheffield location but the Southport location did not measure up. Linnea cut my hair yesterday and I was so disappointed! She cut my hair way too short even after I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. She just kept going with the scissors and I am so insecure about this haircut! Would not recommend!

This place was just OK. I came for the first time and my haircut started 20 minutes after scheduled. Not a great first impression. I didn’t get a bad haircut but I also don’t love it. The stylist didn’t seem super confident while cutting my hair and said things like “nervous” and “I’m not sure.” It’s definitely a cheaper place to get your haircut in the city but lacks some of the hospitality of salons charging a bit more!

I was super excited to try out this salon when it moved to my neighborhood but I didn’t have the best experience. I’m not one to expect or even want a super chatty salon experience but my hairstylist seemed especially cold. Other than asking me what I wanted — which was very short and dismissive in some ways— they did not say a single word to me for the entire hair cut. Not even a simple how are you or how do I usually wear or part my hair etc. This really set an uncomfortable tone. Lastly, I don’t think they really took the time to listen to what I wanted. My inspiration images were natural, lived in, quirky bobs and the stylist blew dry my hair into a sleek rounded bob that resembled more Mom than I would have liked. In hindsight I should have said something but the stylists energy made me intimidated and I felt like I couldn’t speak up. Maybe they were having a bad day? Overall disappointed.
