This salon is the best kept secret in Denver! Jozef is a true artist and a master at his craft. A friend recommended me years ago and I’ve been extremely satisfied ever since. His prices are exceptionally reasonable and he stays up on all the latest styles. He recently started razor cutting my hair and I’ve never received more compliments on my hair. You cannot go wrong with him!

I just found Josef and what a blessing!! He is a MASTER hair designer. He is brilliant with the razor (and razor specialists are few and far between) and my hair looks better than it has in years. Frankly, I just went in for a wash/style as I am letting my hair grow out. My last haircut was over 6 months ago, and Josef asked me if I would be kind enough to let him trim my hair with the razor. I had reservations at first. As I said, finding a stylist who can not just use the razor, but use it masterfully, is really difficult. The person who used to do my hair, (for almost 50 years!), and who is masterful with the razor is just really really far away and it is so hard for me to get to him I finally had to give him up (big sad face), and kind of jumped around to a couple different stylists but was very unhappy; so unhappy that I simply did not get my hair cut at all and just trimmed my bangs myself. Yesterday, I just really wanted a nice salon wash and then to be on my way. But Josef is such a nice man, and I just had a gut feeling to let him do as he wished to my hair. I am so happy I went with my gut!! He now has a customer for life. If you want a great haircut, great style with a man who very obviously loves his art (and he IS and artist), then get into him TODAY!! Well, if he has openings today lol.

Love him! I was paying $80 for a haircut down in wash park, and needed to find someone who could give me a great haircut for less. I tried about 7 different people over 4 years -a couple in belmar- and nobody could really shape my hair the way Jozef can. I am so happy that I found a real pro who has modern techniques, understands how to style/cut hair considering face shape, and who is such a cool guy. I will definitely be returning!

I went to this salon once before to get my bangs trimmed and the lady Maria did a wonderful job. Because of this I assumed she would be great to make a full appointment with, to get my hair dyed and cut. When I went the second time to get my hair dyed I asked for the ombre style and had several pictures for her to look at. At first she tried talking me out of the style saying it’s no longer “in” but then said she could do it. The colors we selected were beautiful too. When it was finally done and she was blow drying my hair she didn’t do the ombre style at ALL! She dyed my hair dark and did streaks of blonde throughout! Not only are there streaks of blonde but if you pick up the blonde piece you can see the distinct line between dark and blonde… zero blending. After being at the salon for four hours and seeing my hair I left in tears. The next day I called to see if she could fix it by simply dying it the one dark color to correct it. She said she would have to charge me $55 because it’s still her time. She charged me $175 the day before! I called the manager of the salon and he said he would have to charge me $60! I’m so embarrassed with how my hair looks. It looks awful and the worst part is I’m going to buy box dye to fix it myself after spending $175.
