My stylist was Christina and I couldn’t have asked for a better device from start to finish. She was very kind and professional, gave me great advice for free, and gave me a beautiful haircut and gloss treatment. I had an initial bad experience where I was more than disappointed with the haircut I had received. However, Kathy, the Operations Manager, called me (to my surprise because I was not expecting it) to apologize and find out what happened. I explained the situation to her and she offered to reimburse the money or get a complimentary appointment with a different stylist. I decided to give it another chance.

Jeff and the Lather team did my hair, along with my bridesmaids, for my wedding in July. They were incredible! They arrived to the Jerome early, had fun with everyone while keeping right on schedule and were a pleasure to spend time with. They worked hard to find the right style for each girl, and make sure each one looked and felt beautiful. I absolutely loved my hair (which held up perfectly). Jeff is truly talented. I can’t say enough good things about Lather. I came to Aspen from Oklahoma for my wedding. From the very first phone call, the staff was so friendly and helpful (particularly Diana – she coordinated everything perfectly for me, even last minute/urgent timing changes!) Christina was my stylist, and she absolutely made my hair perfect and exactly how I envisioned it on my wedding day. My mom was with April. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen my mom’s hair look so pretty! Everything was perfect & we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

The best salon ever. My hair was awful going into the salon. Erin did a beautiful job on my hair. I got highlights and a cut. She suggested less is better to keep my hair healthy, Wow !!! So I had an elopement in aspen on August 16. With several emails and call I was feeling pretty good about booking an appointment here. I told them several times I couldn’t do a trial and they said that’s fine. I asked for what I was wanting done to my hair what the general cost would be and I was told TWICE $75-$100. It was very simple. I could have done it, but it was a special day so I decided to have someone else do it. Everyone seemed nice, so I arrive I was greeted. They assigned me to Romana. I sit in the chair and she goes oh you’re here for a bridal trial and I told her no that I’ve told them several times I couldn’t do it. She did let me know it was no big deal and asked me what I wanting done. I showed her a picture. I REALLY wanted my hair done similar to the picture. She goes, “Oh braids are just in right now, you need something elegant.” She made me feel like what I was wanting wasn’t to her standards and that’ll it look awful. I was already nervous, so I just told her well I guess instead of a braid just twist it. She goes, “yeah that’ll look much better.” During her doing my hair she kept dropping the hair brush that was in my hair in my face (4 times to be exact). This whole time I really wanted to leave, but I had someone coming there to do my makeup or I would have. So I seen the final look of my hair, it didn’t look bad I was ok with it. I get to the desk and they charge me $200. They did ask me if I had a good experience and I just said yeah. I really just wanted to leave. I didn’t say anything because again I was already nervous I didn’t want to get upset because it was a special day and i didn’t want to be upset. My hair didn’t look terrible but I didn’t love it. My curls didn’t last 30 minutes. I curl my hair ALL THE TIME and they last most of the day. I could have done what she did and saved $200. Just disappointed in everything in general.
