I admittedly have never been so I’m not trying to judge how good they are. this purely about a name which keeps me from wanting to go in there to try it. I guess I’ll go when it’s my last resort……

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI booked an appointment here originally because I had heard rave reviews about the past owner, Lisa, and the quality of hair she did. Since there are very limited options for nail salons in Baker City I decided to book an appointment here.I came into my appointment and was asked what I was planning for my gel manicure which I decided to go for some simple french tips and immediately my nail tech, Jane, told me she cannot do french tips and suggested we just stick to a plain color. This was a little weird but I’m flexible. I picked a pink polish and sat down with my tech, she didn’t soak my nails in the little tub she had sitting behind her, she didn’t use the tools she had on a little plate next to us, she didn’t push back my cuticles or trim them at all… she didn’t even file/shape my nails. She just started painting. She missed spots and I had to ask her to go back over places of my nail that were left bare and by the end of my manicure some polish was over the tops of my cuticles and some nails weren’t fully covered. The pink was pretty light so it wasn’t very pigmented and some nails you can still see streaks of my nail underneath. I thought about not paying or asking for some kind of refund since all I was paying for was nail polish and not a true manicure and even then it was a very rough polish job. I chose to pay and thought I could fix them up maybe when I got home but I really am disappointed in the whole experience.I can’t vouch for the quality of hair they do but if you would like a manicure, I recommend choosing a different salon.I booked an appointment here originally because I had heard rave reviews about the past owner, Lisa, and the quality of hair she did. I got my septum done here and I paid $70 dollars in total to have it pierced in the completely wrong spot. She seemed to have no clue what she was doing and was very disorganized. I went to another place a week later to get it pierced in the right spot and the process was way smoother and the pain didn’t even compare to what she did to me. A HUGE rip off. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS.

I looked these ladies up on their website after I was referred by a friend when I couldn’t get into another salon in town because they wouldn’t take appointments after 3pm. So I went in with a picture from Pinterest which isn’t always the best way to get a hair style and she did EXACTLY what I asked for!! Nellie is AMAZING and I will be going back to her very soon for all of my hair needs:) She is a perfectionist and I feel like I was treated great:) I love my new hair. Thank you Nellie. I would highly recommend this salon. They also can get you in on nights and sometimes on weekends.
