I too have experienced a chemical burn from a tech here. I am not sure if it’s “her fault”… however I was informed by owner that my lower lashes should have been taped down better. That isn’t the worse part, my main concern is that when I contacted the owner to have them removed she was unable to be reached. I would caution anyone that is receiving service here. Chemical burns are not common and should be taken seriously.

I have been coming to lash Lyfe for almost a year now. Mia is my lash tech but if she’s unavailable then Audrey can get me right. I’m always satisfied. For the posts speaking about chemical burns. I can only speak from my experience that burning eyes can occur if you don’t close your eyes all the way or you may be sensitive to the eyepatches which I found out I was. Now that my eyes are only taped. I’ve had no further problems. I love Lashlyfe

Owner didn’t really listen when I spoke with her yesterday so hopefully this post is helpful. Please confirm or contact your client if the location is changed. It’s fine that you acknowledge and take fault but confirm that moving forward you will assure that this won’t happen again. Confirm appointment and address. Call to see if the client is on the way. I had a full conversation with the tech the night before. Accommodating her schedule and not one call the next day. I had to google the main business and leave a vm. Because the tech would not answer when I messaged. So frustrating.

This place gave my sister chemical burns on her eyes and scratched her corneas so badly that the doctor she saw at urgent care the following day told her she could have gone blind if she hadn’t have gone in when she did. To make matters worse, the owner and employees could not have cared less when asked for a refund. They were cold and actually called my sister “dumb for even coming here”. THATS THE OWNER TALKING ABOUT THEIR OWN ESTABLISHMENT. She claims people sign waivers prior to treatments but I highly doubt anyone consents to a process where there is a possibility of getting chemical burns on their eye and almost going blind. You would think of you caused someone that much damage, you would feel enough remorse to, AT THE VERY LEAST, issue a refund. This wasn’t even about the money, it’s about principle. My sister is taking legal action. Save your vision and money and find somewhere else more reputable that actually cares what happens to their customers.
