My name is Heather, I am the owner of Lash Out Iowa City I have been a Licensed Esthetician since 2011. I attended Capri College where I learned how to perform skin treatments and waxing. I then took an additional 6 weeks of just makeup, where I learned the art of airbrush makeup. The newest additions to my service menu are eyelash extensions and Facials. What makes me different from any beauty industry person you’ve ever met? Well, I treat everyone like I would my friends or family. To me that means honesty, respect and support.

Heather is AMAZING! Heather and her assistant did airbrush makeup for my wedding – myself, both mothers and 8 bridesmaids! Everyone was very happy with their makeup, and Heather made the morning so much fun. From my mother who never wears makeup to the bridesmaids that wanted dark smoky eyes, all the women looked great with makeup that individually suited them. I would highly recommend her!!!

Heather is awesome! I was visiting my hair dresser and she asked what kind of mascara I used. I told her that they were extensions and she was shocked because they look so natural and you can’t see any glue. If you’re wanting to get lash extensions, Heather is you girl!

Not sure what kind of glue she used but it didn’t work well at all. ALL my lashes fell out the 2nd and 3rd day! I never put mascara on or messed with them and they would just fall out :(((( I’ve had other lash techs use really nice glue that made the lashes stay on for 2-3 months!
