This was my first experience with Lash-Ley. I booked an appointment online which I love because it makes things so easy! I booked here because the reviews were all really great and it was close to home. When the tech saw me she was surprised that I had lashes on even though I put that I needed lash removal on my note on the appointment when it was made. Mireya was my lash tech, and she was super sweet and fun and we chatted and had a good time during my appointment. I have gotten my lashes done twice before, and had gotten hybrids the last time (at a different salon) and wanted a classic set this time to go for a more natural look. The location and the business itself are really nice inside and out and everything was super clean. It was towards the end of the day, so it ended up being just the two of us there. We played music and she let me choose some songs as well. I had to get my previous lashes removed and it stung my eyes a bit but we got it done after a lot of wiping, pulling, and soaking them in the solution. Unfortunately she kept pausing to text and even took a phone call during my appointment which is fine, but it ended up taking almost 2 hours to complete a classics full set which to me is a lot of time for a basic set of lashes. I know I’m newer to the lash game, but still. I have super sensitive eyes so they watered a ton but that’s on me, however I did mention this prior to her starting and nothing was done while my eyes streamed tears during most of the appointment which was pretty uncomfortable. I liked the look of them when I got up so I paid and left and had a pinching feeling in my left eye which made my eyes water more and more which lasted all evening until I finally had to pull out the offending lash. Turns out I had quite a few lashes stuck to the lid of my eye and many lashes doubled or tripled up on the same lash… about 7-9 lashes fell out that first night and then I had a gap in the middle of one eye which of course looked ridiculous. This was not a terrible experience, but for $130 plus a $20 I would have expected a better more professional experience. I will say she waived the lash removal fee which was nice!
