I can’t believe these other reviews! I been going to Chris for 3 years, I’ve been gettting lashes since 2010. When My last girl got married and left the state I was lost. So I went to a few surrounding lash places including Michelle nails in Verona, let’s not even go there with that place. It’s not even a lash place first off it’s a nail salon with two driry beds in a back room with girls who don’t speak a word of English, and have absolutely no knowledge of lashes, they ruined my lashes! And they do fill ins in 20 mins. And than finally I found my savior, she removed all of Michelle’s twisted, one length, saturated with glue lashes that were straight no less. I’m a hairstylist in Montclair and send tons of clients to Chris and never once did anyone complain. She is extremely clean, she takes her time 1 1/2 hour 100 percent coverage, she makes sure she cleans you every time before your fill in and removes grown out twistes lashes. I’ve been her personal model for one on one, training with a women who came straight from Russia to do a Sepical Russian volume tenique, not sure the exact name for it but I know it’s not even here in the states yet. Also I know she’s trained all over the world for the impeccable microblading she does. She never runs late, always makes you comfortable, she has spa music a very comfortable bed, in the winter she even has a heating pad underneath, and she props your legs up to take any pressure off your back, it’s literally amazing it’s one on one and a nice 1 1/2 hour nap. Anytime I needed to cancel or reschedule never was a problem she has her rule about canceling but usually she refunds with next service, when you become a steady client. For my wedding she took 3 hours on me and made sure ever single lash was perfect! Anytime I need a quick touch up last minute for a party she gets me in. Never once was she rude or had any type of attitude. You absolutely get what you pay for. Anyone on here bashing Chris and speaking so highly of Michelle nails is insane. And there’s more to that story. I know for a fact Chris give a Therol consultantion, she’s very straight forward takes her work extremely serious. And i respect that about her. She’s confident in what she does and she’s amazing at what she does!

I read some of these reviews but decided to give it a try anyway. Went in with an open mind. When I came in, there was no introduction, no “hi, welcome, my name is Chris etc”. Just a gruff “sit down”. I was really uncomfortable and tried to make small talk (i.e I’m so excited to be here, the wax isn’t boiling hot, thank you so much!) etc. but there was no response and I felt really awkward and uneasy. I felt like I was taking up her time and she didn’t want to be there. In all fairness, I was slightly undeceive about what I wanted, but I kept apologizing throughout the entire service for taking time to think through how I wanted my brows (i.e how long to leave the tint on for). Any other place I’ve been to was always kind about my indecisiveness, saying “take your time” or “don’t worry about it”. Here, it was nothing like that. In terms of my actual eyebrows, they were fine, which is why I gave it a two star, but the entire experience was so uncomfortable and I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been going to Chris for about 2 years now, This was my first time ever putting lashes on that I was really nervous in the beginning. She gave me a good consultation of what length to start off with and what my own can handle. I started with 50% coverage. They were great. After awhile I wanted to take it to the next level and wanted to look more dramatic. We did another consultation and stated that 100% coverage is more what I’m looking for. I couldn’t of been more happy. Every time I look in the mirror I just feel absolutly beautiful. I wake up in the morning looking like I’ve been up for hours. The placement is amazing, you will NeVER have one lash twist or turn and if you do it’s probably lack of taking care of them. Im not going lie it took me a while to get the hang of it, but once I learned I never had 1 issue with them!!!! I’ve never had any issues with my own lashes!!! Ever!!! Also I think she’s very fair in price.!!!!! I’ve seen people that buy packages to save a buck or two or go to places that charge more and do a horrible job! Also u will never see a speck of glue on your lashes! Remember ladies you get what you pay for! I honestly love your work and wouldn’t leave you for the world! Keep doing what you do best and making us look beautiful !!!!!

I wouldn’t recommend it . She is ignorant and has the biggest attitude after I posted my comment on groupon. She made me sign a paper agreeing to give a 15 dollar tip. The service was not well for her to receive this . When I didn’t give it she pointed the paper. I looked as if I wasn’t even wearing lashes than to charge a tip when the service wasn’t good. Super disappointed! Tips are based on service ,you have no right to mislead users to a cheap price on groupon if yOu are goingto play that card.
