I purchased a brazilian laser hair removal package last year (8 sessions). I have had 7 appointments and they have double/triple booked me and tried to reschedule my appointment NEARLY EVERY SINGLE TIME. They have changed (or tried to change) 5 out of 7 appointments (the last time I refused). For my first appointment, they were trying to get me in ASAP even though I was in no rush. Kayla (who first signed me up) booked an appt which really didn’t work for me. But she said, I quote, “Let’s circle back as we get close to then … we have cancellations all the time!” On the day before the appt, I asked her if a later time had opened up, and she booked one that was better for me. I always book my next one after the session finishes, and I always show up on time. HOWEVER, when I showed up for my 2nd appointment, they made me wait half an hour because they said I was late – even though I had just received a text from them the day before confirming that appointment time. So, there was some error in their system. For the 3rd, 5th, and 7th appts, either on the morning of the appt or the day before, I received either calls or texts from LaserAway “requesting” a change to the appointment time (not the day). Even though I had already confirmed my appt days before. For the 3rd and 5th, I replied to the texts saying no, I wanted to keep my scheduled time. But they changed it anyway. For the 7th, they called me, and I said no, because they have done this to me too many times. Every time it happened, I politely complained to the ladies at the desk when I arrived. They said their system has some issues and allows for double booking. After my 3rd, they said they put a note in my file and that it should happen less because their Oakland location opened. But they kept doing it. Albeit, one time they offered me a bag of sample products as compensation (although I didn’t use/want them) and another time they gave me a free underarm laser treatment.
