I picked Lance as my artist due to loving his black & grey work. I am getting a full sleeve done by him, and thus far I have had a total of 4 appointments. The initial consultation, the second appointment was going over images/design ideas, and the last 2 appointments have been actually getting tattooed.

This happened last month, I was contemplating about leaving this review but the experience was very upsetting so I wanted to share. had a consultation scheduled with Kevin. I arrived to the appointment maybe 15 minutes early. Nobody addressed me. Finally after about 10 additional minutes of waiting I was approached and they told me they’d let Kevin know (and that he was running late). I sat and waited for over an hour while other clients were seen, and I was given no updates. I finally decided to walk out and got my planned tattoo elsewhere. I’d never experienced such unprofessional behavior. I understand that places get busy but I have been to numerous tattoo shops and have never been blatantly ignored, especially for a shop which made me call to confirm my appointment. Extremely disappointing.

This is our second visit to Lark to see Dana K. Our daughter, E, is in the area for surgery and we entrusted Dana to look after her piercings before and after the procedure. Dana is not only really skilled, but such a warm and personable professional. It’s not often that you encounter someone like Dana, who really connects with people so well, especially in a difficult situation. We also found some great pieces of jewelry both times we visited!
