I was paired with Nance Tran, who is a lovely person and clearly works hard. Unfortunately I felt like she didn’t listen to what I asked and completely did her own thing with my hair. I am a brunette and I paid for brown highlights, lighter than my own hair color, but I still specified brown. I showed her two pictures of what I wanted. While the color was already on my hair she came and told me “Oh yeah, I also added gold to the mix because I feel like gold would look good too.” Um what? I never asked, wanted, or showed her a picture of gold highlights. My hair came out a mixture of brass and gold, and she commented “Wow your hair really absorbed the gold.” She blow dried and finished my hair, and I was terrified. This was so far from what I wanted. I showed her the original picture once more and the difference was plain as day. She agreed that it was very different from the picture. She assured me she could fix it by applying toner for another 10 minutes. This cooled the gold, but also removed 99% of any highlight. In the end, I paid $220 for a haircut, and left 4 hours later with zero highlights. Very disappointed.

Timber was amazing! Been having my hair done by her the past 3 years and i absolutely love it every time. I got my hair color corrected from a pink to a beautiful ashy brown ombre! Made me feel comfortable the whole appointment, very professional and i had all my needs met. 🙂 She also trimmed some of my ends and thinned some pieces to make sure I was walking out lookin like a star 😉

Nance cut my hair absolutely terribly. I asked for long face framing layers and she did the exact opposite. I got this haircut for my birthday and am extremely upset and disappointed about the outcome. I cried multiple times and went to a new salon to fix it. The second salon I went to to help my hair saw what Nance did and said it was the worst haircut he has ever seen (this guy has over 40 years of experience). I had to chop off all my hair because the cuts Nance made were so uneven and unfixable. Never coming back to this salon ever again.

Larissa Sofia Salon and staff are very welcoming and makes you feel very relaxed as you walk in. Its very charming and clean. I have very Curly/ Frizzy hair and Larissa did a Fantastic job at helping and showing me how to properly style my curly hair in this weather while keeping the health of my hair. The color was also absolutely beautiful, exactly what I wanted. I went back in for a Keratin smoothing treatment to help with the Frizz and I absolutely LOVE IT. Nadia and Larissa did an amazing job with this treatment. I recently moved to WA from AZ and have been looking for a Hairstylist and Salon to feel comfortable going to and I finally found a place where I will continue to keep going. Larissa Sofia Salon and staff are very welcoming and makes you feel very relaxed as you walk in. Its very charming and clean. We booked an appointment 2 weeks back and when get there they tell us there is no appointment. My daughter was so looking forward to getting a balayage for the first time and she was so disappointed as we were leaving out of town the next day for vacation. Please if you book with them call them and confirm the appointment. I think their online scheduling is not reliable. They couldn’t even accommodate us for their mistake. I will never book here again. I do not expect this kind of service from a high end boutique salon. Very disappointing!!!

Critical: QualityMy appointment was for hair color correction and styling. I understood that the color might not be as expected from first time and I had to sign a document for that . What I don’t understand is why the girl insisted on only having a couple of highlights inside my hair ( which didn’t show and no one thought I did my hair )Now the horror part of the story . UPDATED I went in for a colour and I was very clear that I do not like red on my hair as it looks terrible with my skin tone. As I have had these issues in the past I had done my research and showed the colorist pictures of the colour I was looking for and was more than clear about my wishes. Unfortunately my hair is now red/brown (even more red in the sun). She knew the colour was not right as her parting words were “well, we may see you again some time”. Such a shame after having a great cut…I would much prefer someone say that they cannot do the job or I need to book a lot more time to achieve the results I want than doing what they want.

I had been broken up with hours before coming in, so it felt like my world was falling apart, but didn’t want to cancel my appointment last minute so I came in anyway. Larissa was so incredibly accommodating and sweet. I was so weepy and depressing and she seriously uplifted me in so many ways with her positive energy and did an amazing job on my highlights and styling like always. It sounds cheesy and dumb but it’s more than just a haircut when you go there. These people care about their customers for real.
