An absolutely tremendous experience my first time at the Salon Today. Lindsay is my hairdresser and she was incredibly professional and prompt and to the point on exactly what I wanted I had a fabulous time! I don’t write reviews often but im just so disappointed. I’ve gone to this salon several times with great results but this time im left with very chunky/brassy highlights. Also, there was a significant up-charge “due to covid” which i was not aware of until it was time to pay.

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI reached out privately to the salon to share my bad experience and give them a chance to fix the situation and was told they would be reaching back out to me and then never did. My hair had been untouched in 3+ years. I have light brown hair. I asked for blonde streaks in my hair and a cut. I was split between 2 sylists. Both stylists were extremely rushed and rough on my hair. The brushing and washing was extremely uncomfortable, felt like my hair was being ripped out. I was 9 months pregnant, a week until my due date- was counting on having nice hair for photos with my newborn- was at the salon almost 4 hours- each of the 2 stylists didn’t check to see how i was doing or offer water while the hair dye was sitting on my head. I paid over $200 dollars and my hair BARELY had any blonde coloring in it. I have been in the area for 3 years now and have used a different salon each time, unable to find someone i loved as much as my previous stylist back home. someone gave me a giftacard here so I tried the out and got amazing results! Sarah was very professional, kind. I showed her a picture of my ideal hair and she gave me highlights and lowlights and then a toner and created exactly the look I was going for. She spent close to 2.5 hours with me and really took her time. She even gave me tips on maintenance and did not try to upsell me on any in salon products. I will definitely be going back!

I came into Lari James salon for about a year for basic services, until my hair was fried! I gave them another chance and then again,….. they fried my hair… let me leave the salon with brassy hair, then when i called in to have it fixed, they charged me!!!!!!!!!!!! AGAIN! So not only now is my hair fried to the point i cant have it colored until the pieces they burnt off grows back, but before i came into the salon i had healthy, shiny really healthy hair. Not only was i upset with how horrible the stylists are trained…. but they all ask each other what do do as far as color… and argue in front of me about what toner should be used. Horrible, unprofessional, i do not recommend them to ANYONE!

I have been to this salon twice now (after being referred by a coworker). I saw Brittany the first time who did a fabulous job on my first balayage! I returned for a second visit excited to try a red/copper balayage. The stylist I saw for this visit added blonde highlights to my hair and then tried to add the red color by using a copper toner. When I saw no red/copper color the stylist was VERY accommodating and stayed extremely late trying to add more toner to get more red into my hair and darken up the blonde. Although I was discouraged that I left with something different than I came in for I was very impressed and appreciative of the time she took to try to find that color.
