Rude office personal were rude. I have a high delectable insurance and they wanted to make sure I knew I would need to pay the office visit. When I asked the amount they said it ran for new patients $105. I was expecting that so no worries there. Then they said if I got a shot I would be responsible for that as well again no problem. I understand how my insurance works. The nurse was very nice. The doctor was friendly but very rushed. He just glanced looked at the rash on my eyelid (the reason I was there) declared it was a contact irritant. I was getting better so I figured what ever. But I had put nothing new anywhere on my face much less my eye. While I was there I had him look at some moles my husband was worried about. He grabbed his tools and frozen them off with out discussing them with me or anything. Told me they were nothing to worry about. I figured it couldn’t be to expensive so didn’t stop him. (Yes I know I should have questioned him and could have stopped him). The whole visit took less than 15 min. I when to check out and the total was $3??.00 (sorry I can’t remember the exact amount) This is when I got upset. She went to talk to the Dr. and came back and told me that when there is a high deductible plan they do a flat rate and it would be $150. This is better I give her my card. While or after she runs it I’m told that when they do the flat rate it is not filed on insurance. 🙁 These people do not care they just want you in and out and want to be able to charge insurance for anything and everything they can. I mean really the moles they looked at and froze off are just normal and can’t even be seen. I should have stopped him if they were nothing to worry about. The problem is he was already working on 1 of 3 before he would even answer the questions that they are nothing to worry about.
