I don’t think I can give this place five stars, as it doesn’t do it quite justice, but it’s the max so we’ll settle. I was here yesterday to get my first haircut in years, and I had a great experience from the moment I met the hairdressers to me paying & leaving. Today was my first appointment with Lan. When I stepped into the salon, she immediately knew who I was from my phone call. I was welcomed by her warmth and smile. There were 5-6 persons ahead of me, but the time went quickly as Lan spoke to all in the salon and it was easy to see they were return clients. That made me feel good. There is a friendly atmosphere in the salon and Lan takes the time to meet each client’s needs. Her talent with a scissors is unbelievable. I asked her to use her judgment and I was thrilled with the cut.

Was sad to stop going here cuz I liked Lan but even though I made appointments a week in advance, she often didn’t open the salon on time. I let it go the first couple times but it became too frequent. If you drop in, you might be OK but don’t make appointments especially closer to opening hours.

My 5 yr old use to have a melt down when I would bring him to HairMasters off 72nd Street plaza i looked around and just happened to find Lan’s hair salon, when I was out doing some errands. Now My son loves going here and letting Lan cut his hair which is HUGE ! He has ZERO meltdowns and reminds me when he is overdue for a haircut with Lan. Thank you Lan, your the best stylist !
